What is National scholarships Portal :
National Scholarship portal, (shortly called as NSP) as the name suggests is a government organization for students to apply for national level scholarships. The procedure for application form filling, submitting, tracking and disbursion of funds is dont through the common portal at https://scholarships.gov.in

1) I am a BA 1st year student. How can I get the scholarship?
Students fulfilling the Scheme guidelines of various Ministries are eligible to apply for these scholarships. These are available on the Home Page of the Portal. Closure dates for acceptance of various scholarship applications are available in National Scholarships Portal. In order to apply online, please visit the website through URL scholarships.gov.in
2) What is the procedure to renew the NMMS scholarship?
Login to your NSP account to renew your application. Application Id is same as last year Student Registration Id. Closure dates for acceptance of various scholarship applications are available in National Scholarships Portal.
3) I have filled the institute name wrongly. How can I correct the name in National Scholarship Portal for new registration?
All the information can be edited till the closure of application form. After final submission, your application will be forwarded to the next level and application hereby cannot be edited.
You should separately inform the mistakes detected by you to the Institute/District/Region/State. The software provides facility at the level of the Institute & State to edit & correct limited information.
4) What are the last date of NSP scholarships?

5) I have forgotten my ID number. Please help me to retrieve it.
The “Forgot Application Id” option may be used and this problem can be overcome by using Search by Bank Account Number and Search by Mobile Number.
6) I filled National Scholarships Portal form in 2015-16. But today I got message as not verified by your college. Now what can I do?
With all the resumes that you submitted while filling online scholarship form you can get verified from your college/university and submit the verified document to social welfare office.
7) I got the message only about institute verification and did not get any further. Now what should I have to do to know my current status?
You have to submit school certificated attested by head of institute in update option.
8) My registration number is GJ201516000070250. I want to know my payment status.
Go to the link https://pfms.nic.in/Static/KnowYourPayment.aspx. You can know your payment status using account number or aadhaar number.
9) How can I register the school for NMMS scholarship?
You should immediately approach the institute to contact with the nodal officer of the State where the institute is located. You can also approach the Nodal Officer of that State directly through e-mail under intimation to the Ministry. If your institute is an eligible institution, the State Government concerned would enter it into the database and then you can apply.
10 ) I am from Nagaland and I belong to ST minority. I just got done with my computer science and I am looking forward to do commercial pilot course. So should I fill up this form for my scholarship and if not this which one should I fill?
