Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:
** Below 35 years, as on the first day of July of the relevant year of the award
** Be a domicile of Rajasthan
** Be pursuing higher studies abroad in specified subjects at the Undergraduate level, Masters’s level, Ph.D., and Post-doctoral research programs
** Have an annual income of less than INR 8 lakh per annum
Benefits
Value of scholarship:
Annual Maintenance Allowance:
The Annual maintenance allowance of 10,00,000 Rupees for all levels of courses covered under the Scheme.
Annual Contingency and Equipment Allowance:
The Annual Contingency and Equipment Allowance for books/essential apparatus/study tour/typing and thesis binding will be rupees 1,00,000 will be provided.
Visa Fees:
Actual visa fees in Indian Rupees will be paid.
Tuition Fees:
Tuition fees as per actual will be admissible. However, if the awardee gets any other financial assistance/scholarship in any form from the university/ institution, the same will be deducted from the sanctioned amount.
Medical Insurance Premium:
Actual as charged will be admissible
Cost of Air Passage:
Airfare with economy class for the shortest route from India to the destination and back to India will be permissible.
Revision of Rates:
All the awardees already undergoing studies abroad would also be eligible to receive the revised rates as approved in the Scheme and its modified form with future effect.
Mode of Disbursement:
The Government of Rajasthan will decide the mode of disbursement of above listed financial assistance.
