Under the scheme of National Overseas Scholarship for the Selection year 2018-19, 13 (Thirteen) candidates have been provisionally recommended by the competent authority for the Assurance of Scholarship under 1st list.
How to Check Result?
Just follow the below steps to check the Result of NOS Selection Year 2018-19.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment through the URL https://socialjustice.gov.in/
Step 2 : Then Select ‘Result of NOS For Selection Year 2018-19’ under “What’s New” section
Step 3 : The result will be displayed in a PDF format. Please download the PDF file to view your results or you can directly download it from below mentioned link.

Step 4 : The PDF files contains the following details
** Candidate Name
** Name of Course applied
** Name of College applied
** Award of Scholarship/Assurance Scholarship
Important Points
** A total of 53 candidates were considered by screening cum selection committee. After consideration, the committee has provisionally recommended 13 (Thirteen) candidates for Assurance of scholarship under the 1st list for Selection Year 2018-19 as per Annexure-1
** The selected candidates would be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claims relating to age, educational qualifications, caste, income etc before actual release of funds
** Provisional award / assurance letters will be issued to selected candidates shortly. The selection would be confirmed subject to verification of all original documents and fulfillment of the other eligibility requirements like Police verification, Submission of Bonds, Confirmation of admission, accreditation of college/university by Indian Missions abroad etc. as per scheme.
** If information/document submitted by the candidate is established as false, he/she will be debarred from the award and if he/she has availed scholarship or is availing scholarship, action will be initiated for recovery of the scholarship disbursed with 15% compound interest thereon. Such candidate is also liable to be black listed for future.
** A letter will be issued in this regard to all such candidates through Speed Post/E-mail clearly specifying the requirements.
The applicant has to submit the said information/ documents within 30 days from receipt of such letter/E-Mail failing which, their application for NOS 2018-19 will be treated as closed and no correspondence will be entertained.
** The List of ineligible/rejected candidates along with reasons is at Annexure-3. The applications of Km. Vimmi Ambadas Gajbhiye & Shri Vaibhav Ravindra Chavan are under consideration and their result will be declared later.
** Applications received after 31.05.2018 will be considered in the next Screening-cum-Selection Committee Meeting.
