DHE Research Scholarship

The Nagaland Research Scholarship forms shall be issued from 20th June till 31st July 2018 from the Office of the Directorate of Higher Education, Kohima.

Eligibility Criteria

Research Scholars belonging to ST & Indigenous Category of Nagaland who are pursuing MPhil/PhD course in recognised Universities within India.

How to Apply?

Just follow the below steps to apply for the Nagaland State Research Scholarship 2018-19.

Online Method

Step 1 : Go to the Nagaland official website through the URL [https://www.nagaland.gov.in//portal]
Step 2 : Register if new user, else Login

Step 3 : Go to Online Services
Step 4 : Select the desired scholarship scheme from Directorate of Higher Education menu.
Step 5 : Fill up the form carefully and submit it online.

Step 6 : Take a printout of your filled form and submit it to your institution. Based on your submitted printout form, your institution will prepare Annexure IV for submission to the Directorate of Higher Education.

Offline Method

Step 1 : Get the scholarship form from the Office of the Directorate of Higher Education, Kohima.

Step 2 : Fill the Application Form carefully and sent it to the DHE office with the required documents.

The Department had successfully implemented the Scholarship schemes during the year 2015-16.

The last date of forms submission to the Directorate of Higher Education will be 29th September 2018.

FAQs

1. What is an offline form?
An offline form is a downloadable version of the online eform available in the state portal. The offline form provides portability and availability so that users can fill the form even when not connected to the internet at their convenience. The offline form will require internet connection to finally submit it.

2. What are the payment options available?
Currently the payment options available are
i) Cash payment at the department
ii) DD

3. How do I make cash payment?
Once forms have been submitted and processed and during service collection, cash payment can be done at the department.

4. How do I check for status of my service application?
Status of service application can be checked in any of the following ways
1. Users will be intimated of status change in their inbox available in the state portal.
2. Users will get SMS notification on Status change.
3. Users can enquire about status at the department with the transaction id.

5. How do I collect the applied for certificate/service?
Certificate/Service can be collected at the department as and when the department notifies the user of service completion, with proper verification of original documents, if required.

  1. Students from Nagaland have not received the scholarship this year. It has been already the month of September. What the hell Nagaland government is doing?
