** This scholarship is open to Bertelsmann employees as well as the general public interested in Data Science.

How it Works?
** We’ll review all applications and select 15,000 recipients to participate in the Scholarship Challenge Course
** You’ll spend 3 months learning all about the statistics you need to succeed in the world of data.
** Top students from the initial Challenge Course will be selected for a full Nanodegree program.
How to Apply?
To Apply for the Bertelsmann Data Science Scholarship Program please follow the simple steps mentioned below

Step 1 : Go to the official website of Udacity through the above mentioned link
Step 2 : Then click the ‘Apply Now’ button in the home page.
Step 3 : Enter the following details to Create Your Student Account
i. Enter Your First Name [Susana]
ii. Enter Your Last Name [Joseph]
iii. Enter Your Email Address [susana123@gmail.com]
iv. Enter Your Mobile Number [9876543210]
v. Enter the Password and Click Sign Up button
Step 4 : Then please enter your Background Information. For that click Edit button and answer the following question
1. Verify your country – India
2. Are you currently employed? *
3. How many years of professional experience do you have? *
4. What gender do you most identify with?
5. Are you an employee of Bertelsmann or any Bertelsmann companies? If so, please provide your people net-ID
6. Did you receive an application code for this scholarship program? If so, please enter
7. Are you at least 18 years old? *
Step 5 : After that enter your Prerequisite Knowledge and Your Goals
Step 6 : Finally click Save & Submit button [You can edit your application until the Last Date on April 23rd]
Step 7 : After Complete your Application you will receive a confirmation message as follows and you can Edit your Application by clicking Edit Application button.
Step 8 : Visit Class Room it will redirect to Popular Programs. You can View the Program and apply for the particular course.

FAQs
1. What is the program language?
The program language of the Challenge Course and all Udacity Nanodegree programs is English. Subtitles are available in Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese and English.
2. Where does the program take place?
The program takes place 100% online. Students can work from wherever they want to, as long as they have a working internet connection.
3. When will the results be announced? When do classes start?
Applications open on January 22, 2018 and close on April 22, 2018. Scholarship recipients will be announced in May 2018 and will start the Challenge Course later that month.
4. What are the criteria for being selected as one of the 15,000 scholarship recipients?
Udacity will evaluate the scholarship applications with a view to selecting recipients who possess :
** Diversity of perspective and experience
** Goal orientation, desire to make an impact
** Demonstrated determination and grit
** Willingness to dedicate sufficient time to scholarship
** Prerequisite knowledge where relevant
