** Objective set was “Encouraging economically weak but meritorious students to opt for studies in professional courses in medicine, management and engineering” by giving them monetary support.

** At a slow but steady pace, ZICT has enlarged its canvas of services by encompassing entire Gujarat and majority of professional courses. More than just a scholarship program or a straight financial assistance to needy and qualified students, ZICT approach is a tool to strengthen the social and economical conditions.

Important Information:
1. Only bright students from financially weaker families need to apply.
2. Student must have secured admission in Std. XI or XII Science stream.
3. For students applying for Std. XI – Min. 255/300 marks required in Maths, Science and English subjects in Std. 10th.
4. Fill the form with utmost care and to the best of your knowledge.
5. Take a printout of the completely filled form, sign it and send it with all necessary documents.
6. Find the list of documents to attach at the end of submitting the application form.

About Scheme :
** A most noteworthy aspect of above is that while the number of boys increased almost three times from 50 in 2007 to 153 in 2012, the number of girls went up from 8 in 2007 to 125 in 2012. This is a very encouraging and healthy indication of a bright future. Gradual increase in the number of locations from where these boys and girls opt for study in professional courses is highly satisfactory as well.

** Remember, these are the students considered eligible as per ZICT’s criterion but more than hundred, though studying for professional courses, were left out as they did not fulfill the set terms and conditions. Besides, many more students might not have applied to ZICT as they do not need financial help at all.

** Future of the young India is closely tied to quality education and business. This will have a profound impact on the country and the minority world as a whole. ZICT extends financial help to the students in the form of cheques distributed to each one of them in a public function arranged on a convenient day in the last quarter each year.
