Alumni Scholarship Scheme :
** The SREC Alumni Scholarship Scheme provides financial assistance to students for studies in professional courses leading to degrees in engineering.

** SRECASS aims to encourage the economically needy and academically deserving students of various UG programmes of the institute to award Alumni Scholarships.
** This scheme supports second, third and final year students of the UG programme. Rs 2,00,000 can be utilized for scholarship from SREC Alumni Association account.
** The amount is to be evenly distributed to the eligible and deserving students nominated by the selection committee. The recommendation of the selection committee is final,
Eligibility Criteria:
** Only B.E / B.Tech degree course students are eligible for Alumni scholarships Scheme.
** This scheme supports second, third and final year students of the UG programme of SREC
** Announcements are made by Alumni Association during the month of July every academic year: look out for alumni cell notice board inviting applications and/or nominations,
** The applicants should have scored not less than 60% marks (Equivalent CGPA is 5.0) at the time applying to the scholarship.
** The candidate should not be a recipient of any other major scholarship worth over Rs.15,000 per annum.
** The student should have been admitted under Government quota through single window counseling.
** Student should not have faced any disciplinary action.
** Alumni Scholarship be provided only once during the period of study,
** The participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities has added advantage for selection.
** The gross family income should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000 per year, Gross income refers to the income before deductions for taxes or other purposes
How to apply:
** To avail the alumni scholarship the students of UG programme are directed to download the application form from SREC AA website (www.srecalumni.org.in).
** The application forms duly filled in along with the requisite documents mentioned in the format should reach the Alumni cell well in advance,
** The duly filled application forms should reach the alumni office on or before 20th July 2016
** Late submission is strictly not encouraged and application forms received after 20th July 2016 will not be considered
Application Requirements:
** The applicants should have scored not less than 60% marks (Equivalent CGPA is 6.0) at the time of applying the scholarship.
** The student should have been admitted under Government quota through single window counseling.
** Fill out the below application completely. ALL BLANKS MUST BE COMPLETELY FILLED.
** Please enclose the necessary supporting documents such as copy of attested mark sheets, income certificate/pay slip of parents, community certificate and awards (if any).
** Write a brief narrative focused on your need of this scholarship and why you should receive it.
** This statement should be typed or printed and should not exceed one double-spaced page.
