Pre-Matric Scholarship :

The Government of India is implementing the Scheme of “Pre-Matric Scholarship to children of those engaged in occupations involving cleaning & prone to health hazards”.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance for pre-matric Education to children of the following target groups, viz.
(i) scavengers
(ii) sweepers having traditional link with scavenging ,
( iii) tanners, and
(iv) flayers.

Under the scheme 100 % central assistance will be provide to State Government [UT Administration from the Government of I idia for the total expenditure under the scheme for the year 2016-17.The scholar obtaining benefits under this scheme is not allowed to avail of benefits under any other pre-matric scholarship scheme .

Further detail information of the revision of regulations of the scheme guide line and revised Provision for conditions of eligibility is enclosed herewith for ready reference. Revise rates of Scholarship tinder the Scheme of Pre-Matric Scholarships to children of those engaged in occupations involving cleaning & prone to health hazards.

Hostlers Rate of Scholarship:
Class III -X Rs. 700/- per month for 10 months & Ad hoc Grant of Rs. 1000/ per annum.

Day Scholars Rate of Scholarship:
Class I to X Rs. 110/- per month for 10 months & Ad hoc Grant of Rs. 750/ per annum.

Note:
All the Head of Institutes ( for Std IX & X ) are hereby requested to open self bank account of eligible students in Nationalized Bank and submit Account Number ( with IFSC Code),Bank branch Address and Aadhar /Enrolment Number (Photo copy to be submitted) , along with require documents as per the application form

All the Head of Institutes are hereby requested to submit the Applications after check it properly and eligibility of students as per GOI guidelines on or before 20/08/2016 in both soft (Must in Excel) and hard copy of the Performa. The Application received thereafter will not be considered for sanction.
