STST & JTST :

JBNSTS Senior Talent Search Test & Junior Talent Search Test for 2016 are scheduled to be held on July 24, 2016

FOR SENIOR TALENT SEARCH TEST (STST) – 2016 APPLICANT
1. Students who have passed 10 + 2 examination in science category in 2016 and are aspiring to study Basic Sciences / Medicine / Engineering in West Bengal are eligible.
2. Those who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination in science category before 2016 are not eligible to apply..
3. Pass course and Diploma course students shall not be eligible.
4. Final selection of scholar is subject to submission (in the month of September, 2016) of their proof of admission in the 1st year UG (Science(H) / Engg. / Med) course in any institute of West Bengal.

FOR JUNIOR TALENT SEARCH TEST (JTST) – 2016 APPLICANT
1. Students who have passed 10th standard examination in 2016 with minimum 75% marks / equivalent C.G.P.A. (in aggregate) and currently studying in class XI in science stream (with at least 3 subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science) in any school in West Bengal are eligible to apply

2. Those who have passed 10th standard examination before 2016 are not eligible to apply.

PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION :
1. Before filling the online application form, candidate needs to make the payment of application fee (Rs. 100/- for JTST & Rs. 200/- for STST) through onlinesbi.com/prelogin/icollecthome.htm. You can make your online payment through net banking/debit card/credit card or you can generate online chalan and deposit the fee at any branch of SBI.

2. Please obtain your bank transaction ID (starting with DU) on payment of the application fee. Without this bank transaction ID you shall not be able to submit your application.

3. PLEASE ENTER CORRECT AND SAME DATE OF BIRTH, CONTACT NUMBER, EMAIL ID AND GUARDIAN’S NAME DURING SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION FORM AT JBNSTS WEBSITE AND DURING PAYMENT THROUGH SBI ONLINE PAYMENT GATEWAY, OTHERWISE APPLICATION WILL BE REJECTED

4. Please check your eligibility carefully before filling the application form
5. Upload your passport size photograph and signature only in JPEG format only; maximum file size allowed is 1MB (EACH).
7. Upload your mark sheet of Class 10th std (for JTST) 12th Std. (for STST) / Equivalent Examination in PDF format only maximum file size allowed is 1MB.
8. Upload your proof of admission in class 11 (for JUNIOR TALENT SEARCH TEST) in PDF format only maximum file size allowed is 1MB..

Along with the completely filled in application form, the following documents should be sent to JBNSTS office, 1300 Rajdanga Main Road, Kasba, Kolkata – 700 107, on or before 1st July, 2016.

(i) Three recent passport size photographs to be affixed in the boxes provided in the application form.
(ii) Photocopy of the original admit card and marksheet of 10th standard or equivalent examination.
(iii) Bank Draft of Rs.100/- (non-refundable) payable at Kolkata in favour of “Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search” as examination fee.
(iv) Self addressed envelope with postal stamp of Rs.10/- (envelope size 20 cm x 12 cm) for sending Admit Card.
(v) Proof of class 11th standard admission (photocopy of Fees Book/ Library Card / Identity Card)
