What is Bhumi Fellowship?

The Bhumi Fellowship Program is offered by Bhumi Organisation, one of India’s largest independent youth volunteer non-profit organisations. The fellowship is a prestigious opportunity designed to support passionate individuals committed to creating social impact through community development initiatives. Selected fellows will receive a monthly grant of ₹25,500. Last date of application is 31st March 2026.

Who Can Apply For Bhumi Fellowship?

To be eligible, an applicant must:

** be between 21 and 30 years of age
** hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in humanities, social sciences, education, management, law, engineering, medicine, or other related fields
** demonstrate passion for social work and community development
** aligned with Teaching, EdTech, or Systemic Transformation
** ready to relocate to Chennai, Coimbatore, or Trichy

Note: Candidates with prior volunteering experience or demonstrated leadership in social initiatives will be preferred.

Selection Process of Bhumi Fellowship

Stage 1 : Application
Your application will help us understand your experiences, your aspirations, and motivations to join the Bhumi Fellowship.

Stage 2 : Video Submission
A short video to help us understand more about you and your journey beyond what’s on your application.

Stage 3 : Final Assessment
Final stage of the selection process comprising lesson execution, group discussion and problem solving. Upon clearing these, you will be invited to a personal interview.
