What is Nagaland State Agriculture Scholarship?
State Agriculture Scholarship 2026 is provided by Nagaland Directorate of Agriculture. Scholarship will be applicable for all the inhabitants of Nagaland pursuing for B.Sc. or M.Sc. Agriculture. All eligible students shall apply through the Common Scholarship Portal for the session 2025-26. Bank Account must be that of the applicant. Last date of application is 31st January 2026.
Eligibility of Nagaland State Agriculture Scholarship
A student should fulfil the following criteria to be eligible for this Scholarship.
1. State Agriculture Scholarship will be applicable for all the inhabitants of Nagaland pursuing for B.Sc. or M.Sc. Agriculture.
2. Application must be from Institution which has valid AISHE/UDISE code.Students who have failed in their last examination (repeaters) are not eligible to apply.
3. Applicants must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship scheme.
How To Apply For Nagaland State Agriculture Scholarship?
1. All eligible students shall apply for State Agriculture Scholarship through the Common Scholarship Portal https://scholarship.nagaland.gov.in for the session 2025-26.
2. Bank Account must be that of the applicant. Application form will be rejected if the Bank Account is not of the applicant.
3. The Department will not be responsible for non-receipt of scholarship amount due to wrong/inactive bank account details provided by the applicant.
4. Applicant is warned that if he/she gives false statement/declarations/documents etc. or otherwise obtained scholarship through fraudulent means, he/she will be blacklisted and debarred from getting scholarship under this scheme or any other scholarship schemes for the entire period of his/her studies. The scholarship amount if already paid will also be recovered.
5. Incomplete/wrong entries in the e-form or incomplete enclosure of necessary documents will be subjected to rejection. Correction/rectification after online submission will not be entertained.
6. New students for the academic year 2025-26 who have not applied scholarship for the year 2024-25 shall apply as ‘Fresh’.
7. The students who have received scholarship during the year 2024-25 shall continue his/her application as ‘Renewal’.
Documents Required For Nagaland State Agriculture Scholarship
Documents required for Fresh Application: –
1. Class X Admit Card.
2. Copy of Progress Report of the last semester.
3. Admission Receipt from respective institution.
4. Scheduled Tribe Certificate.
5. Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate.
6. Copy of the front page of Bank Passbook or Bank Statement (clearly indicating Account Holders Name, Account Number, Bank Branch, IFSC Code etc.)
7. Institution Verification Form as per Annexure –I.
Documents required for Renewal Application: –
1. Copy of Progress Report of the last semester.
2. Admission Receipt from respective institution.
3. Copy of the front page of Bank Passbook or Bank Statement (clearly indicating Account Holders Name, Account Number, Bank Branch, IFSC Code etc.
4. Institution Verification Form as per Annexure- I
