What is Army Welfare Education Scholarship Scheme?
An Education Scholarship Scheme to promote education and covers Serving Army Personnel wards below 25 years of age studying in recognized school/institutions across the country. ESSA scholarship, a motivating factor for wards of Serving Army Personnel is increasingly being disbursed every year at all the three segments ie School, Graduation and Post Graduation level. Last date of application is 8th January, 2025.
Eligibility of Army Welfare Education Scholarship Scheme
** Wards of all serving Army personnel and MNS Officers. Applicant / ward must not have attained 25 years of age at the time of completion of class/course from IX to PG level of education.
** Wards of Retired Army personnel, Territorial Army personnel (TA) and deceased Army personnel are not eligible.
How To Apply For Army Welfare Education Scholarship Scheme?
The applications should pertain to the declared results of the immediately preceding academic year between 01st Oct of the preceding year and 30th Sep of the current year (i.e, applications will be processed this year for the period from 01st Oct 2023 to 30th Sep 2024). Accordingly, for this year the last date for receipt of applications is extended to 8th Jan 2025. No further extension of dates will be granted.

Step-3 : Enter your Mobile Number in the space provided
Step-4 : Verify your OTP
Step-5: Fill the online registration form
Step-6 : After successful registration, Login to your account
Step-7 : Fill the online scholarship form and Submit.
Award of Army Welfare Education Scholarship Scheme
The scholarship, based on the level of education for all categories are as under :

| 2 | Class X and XII | Rs 4000/- per annum. |
| 3 | Graduation | Rs 7500/- per annum |
| 4 | Post Graduation | Rs 10000/- per annum. |
Note:
Merit certificates will be issued online to all eligible applicants.
