Directorate of Medical Education Research, Maharashtra provides Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance for Students whose parent’s annual Income is below 800000 and Student whose parent’s are Marginal Land Holder and registered labour.

Who Can Apply?

** For Students who had taken admission for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPTH, BOTH, B.SC Nursing, BUMS, BP & O, BASLP in government aided/Corporation/Private un-aided colleges.

** Hostel maintenance allowance for student’s with annual income less than 1, 00,000 and whose parents are Aplabhudharak shetkari/Registered Labourers

** Not applicable for students pursuing admission through management quota/Institute level.
** Students who have taken hostel admission in Mumbai ,Pune ,Aurangabad ,Nagpur or other locations in Maharashtra.

** Candidates are eligible those who have taken an admission under General category and SEBC Category

How to Apply?

Just follow the below steps to apply for the Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance 2020-21.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Aaple Sarkar Maharashtra DBT Portal through the URL https://mahadbtmahait.gov.in/home/index

Step 2 : New User click on the “New Applicant Registration” link in the home page.

Step 3 : Next Enter your Aadhaar Number and Choose your Authentication Type then click on Send OTP button for verification

Step 4 : Fill the remaining details to complete your registration. After registration, you have to login with your registered Username and Password

Note :
** Click on Forgot Password, if you forgot your password entered while registration
** Click on Forgot User Name, if you forgot your User Name entered while registration

Step 5 : Select the scheme “Maintenance Allowance For Student Studying In Professional Courses” under Social Justice & Special Assistance category.

Step 6 : Then fill the required fields to apply for the scholarship. Applicant must check that all details provided by him/her are correct before final submission, as there will be no provision to edit details thereafter.

Documents Required

** Domicile Certificate
** New applicants need to submit HSC and SSC mark sheet
** Income certificate of Parents.
** Previous year’s marksheet.
** Affidavit

** Registered Labourers/ aplabhudarak shetkari need to submit a proof letter approved from tahsildar /Income certificate of Parents.
** Aadhar card
** Student’s PAN card (optional)
** Father’s PAN card
** Mother’s PAN card (optional)

Benefits

** Hostel maintenance allowance for student’s with annual income less than 1, 00,000: Rs.3000 per year for Mumbai ,Pune ,Nagpur ,Aurangabad and Rs.2000 per year for other locations.(for 10months in a academic year).

** Hostel maintenance allowance for student’s whose parents are Aplabhudharak shetkari/Registered Labourers : Rs.30,000 per year for Mumbai ,Pune ,Nagpur ,Aurangabad and Rs.20,000 per year for other locations (for 10months in a academic year).
