Internshala Young Achiever Scholarship
Internshala announces free access to its online training programs for academically bright students from the economically weaker sections.
In view of the extended lockdown, Internshala has announced that it would provide free access to its online training programs to academically bright students from the economically weaker sections till 15th May.
Who is Eligible?
** Any student currently enrolled in a recognised school or college (public or private) including distance learning programs AND
** Whose annual family income is less than INR 240,000/- per year.
The graduates who have completed studies or working professionals or a student who has already been given free access to a training from Internshala under some other initiative is not eligible.
As of now a student can choose from following online training programs available on Internshala Trainings
** Programming with Python
** Web Development
** Ethical Hacking
** Android App Development
** Creative Writing
** French Language
** Programming with C & C++
** Financial Modeling & Valuation
** Advanced Excel
** Core Java
** Digital Marketing
** Beginner’s Trading Certificate
** Data Science
** Machine Learning (excluding specialization)
** Business Communication Skills
How to Apply?
The eligible students should follow the below process –
Step 1 :
Sign up for a training program of your choice from the above list but do NOT make payment. Use your college email id to sign up if you have one. If not, a personal email id is OK too.
Step 2 :
Reply to the sign-up email you receive with the following details
** A picture of you holding your school/college photo ID in a way that your face in the picture and the details in the card, including your picture in it, are clearly visible.
** Pictures/scanned copies of your 10th, 12th, and graduation marksheet (till the latest available semester) which clearly show your name and your academic performance (please note this scholarship is available only to those who have consistently scored >=75% marks throughout their education)
** Scanned copy of a letter signed by your Head of Department (HoD) on the official letterhead. In case you are not able to connect your HoD, you can request your faculty in-charge for Training & Placement, Principal, Dean, Director, or Vice-Chancellor for the same.
In case, they are not in a position to provide you with a signed letter on the letterhead, they can also email to us on trainings [AT] internshala.com with the same template as above
** Please include this self declaration in your email to us – “I hereby confirm that all the details provided by me are true and correct and if any discrepancy is found later upon verification; Internshala reserves the right to revoke my training access, nullify my certificate, and take other necessary action.”
Step 3 :
Once we verify the details provided by you, we will grant you free access to the training program and inform you over email
Due to high email and call volumes due to Covid-19, it will take us minimum 4 days to process your free access. Please be patient and kindly do not follow up.
If you receive any payment reminder email or SMS from us in between, please ignore them.
1. Till when students will have free access to the chosen program?
All the eligible students who enroll into any of the eligible programs with the training start date of 15th May or before, will have free access to their chosen program till they complete it. It usually takes 4-8 weeks for students to complete their training.
2. Can the eligible students who have already enrolled themselves into a training program on Internshala Trainings by paying a fee avail this opportunity?
No, we are afraid it will not be operationally feasible for us to administer that. These students can continue to access Internshala Trainings as per their enrollment details.
