Chhattisgarh CM Knowledge Incentive Scheme
The state government of CG has launched the scheme “Mukhya Mantri Gyan Protsahan Yojana 2019-20 or CM Knowledge Incentive Scheme 2019-20” to promote education to the meritorious students of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).

About CM Knowledge Incentive Scheme :
The state government of Chhattisgarh is providing the scholarship to the meritorious students of the state under Mukhyamantri Gyan Protsahan Yojana. The objective of this scheme is to provide a financial assistance to those students who have got merit in 10th and 12th class and belongs to SC /ST community.
The scheme has been initiated to increase the literacy rate of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students of the state. In fact, despite the ability of students in the state, due to weak economic conditions, they are not able to get higher education.
Under this CG Gyan Protsahan Yojana, this incentive amount will be provided to the students every year. Through “Gyan Protsahan Yojna”, the students will get at least 60% marks in the 10th and 12th class board examinations. Those students can take advantage of this scheme.
Under Mukhyamantri Gyan Protsahan Yojana, the state government will provide Rs. 15,000 to each student who has performed well in the 10th and 12th exam. Moreover, the benefit of the scheme will only be given to students who have passed or studying in any school of state recognized from Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE), CBSE and ICSE.
The government will provide a total amount of Rs 12 crore incentive across the state. 3 crore 60 lakhs will be given to the selected scheduled caste students. At the same time, the selected students of the scheduled tribe will get a total of 8 crores of 40 lakhs. The amount received under the scheme can be used by the student in his higher education. This will greatly benefit poor meritorious students. There will be no financial crisis in the interest of their studies.
