Applications are invited for Postmatric scholarships for the year 2019-20.

Who Can Apply?

** Students studying Graduate/Postgraduate courses in the national institutes outside Kerala.
** Those studying in institutions within the state need not apply
** Annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 1.5 lakh

** Scholarships / stipend / educational benefits under any other government scheme are not eligible to apply under this scheme.
** Scholarships for two boys from the same family will not be allowed.

** Students belonging to minority communities who have applied for scholarships through the College Education Department are not required to apply for this program.

How to Apply?

Just follow the below steps to apply for the OBC Postmatric Scholarship 2019-20.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Kerala Backward Classes Development Department through provided above.
Step 2 : Then download the application form from the official website or you can directly download it from below mentioned link.

Step 3 : Fill the application form with the required details.
Step 4 : Application and related documents should be stitched with yarn and covered in 32cm x 25cm – size cover.

Step 5 : Application for OBC outside cover To be recorded as Postmatric Scholarship.
Step 6 : Application and related documents should be made by Registered / Ordinary / Speed Postal or by direct mail to the following address by 07.09.2019.

Bonafide Certificate

1. Certified that the above furnished details are found true with reference to the certificates and records kept in this institute.
2. Certified that the student is not in receipt of scholarship from any other agencies.

3. Certified that the attested copy of the fee structure (specify refundable & non-refundable fee) approved by state/central government is attached.

4. Certified that the student attends classes regularly and his/her average monthly attendance is more than 80%.
5. Certified that the character & conduct of the student is satisfactory/good.

Terms & Conditions

** No scholarship will be granted for a professional course – other than its continuation – after a course in a professional course.
** Practice Allowance for those pursuing a medical degree Scholarships will only be granted if they are not received
** Candidates will be allowed only one year scholarship. Under no circumstances will the benefit of previous years be allowed.
