This Scholarship cum Admission test CU-SAT is aimed at rewarding the brilliance and potential of young aspirants to win scholarships and study in futuristic courses of their choice. This policy applies to all the applicants aspiring to pursue Under-Graduate (UG) at Chandigarh University.
For UG Courses :
A Student who has scored 50% or more marks in their secondary Education (10+2) from a recognized Board (CBSE/PSEB/ICSE or any other recognized State/National Board).
** Not applicable to Lateral Entry Engineering Programs
** Not applicable to Industry Collaborative Courses.
** Not applicable for Masters Programme
CUSAT Online Application
All applications to CU-SAT will be accepted through online mode only. Just follow the below steps to apply for the CUSAT 2019 Scholarship Admission Test.
Step 1 : Visit Chandigarh University CU-SAT website through provided above
Step 2 : Register on CU-SAT registration page and create your profile.
Step 3 : After filling form you will get confirmation message through SMS/E-mail provided at the time of registration.
Step 4 : Once you get registered, you are requested to pay registration fee of Rs. 800/-
There will be 90 Multiple Choice Questions. Syllabus and distribution of questions shall be as per annexure. 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer. No Negative Marking.
Exam Mode :
The test will be conducted in online mode only.
Exam Duration :
Duration of the test will be 120 minutes (2 hour).
The following methodology will be adopted for calculating the merit for the scholarships to be provided to the students-

The distribution of scholarships will be as follows-
|Top 1% students on the basis of merit||100% of semester fees|
|Next 2% students on the basis of merit||50% of semester fees|
|Next 3% students on the basis of merit||25% of semester fees|
|Next 4% students on the basis of merit||10% of semester fees|
*The students who will score 60% or more marks in CU-SAT will be offered at least 5% scholarship in the course fee.
** All the above scholarships will be offered to candidates who score at least 60% in CU-SAT.
*** Number of Scholarships offered in each stream will be maximum of 10% of total students admitted by the University in that stream.
Scholarships once given will be for the entire duration of the course but subject to mandatory meeting of set norms which will be reviewed every year. Once the set norms are met, the scholarship shall be renewed.
Renewal Criteria :
CU-SAT Scholarship Recipients should apply for renewal every year Performance: 7.5 CGPA at the end of each year Attendance: 75% or more in each course in all semesters Student should not indulge in any activity of indiscipline

* Anyone failing to satisfy the need of uploading the marks for CU-SAT & Qualifying Exam on the said date will not be allowed to avail the scholarship further.
** Intimation to candidates will be done through E-Mail/CU Website within 2 weeks of declaration of result.
