Online applications were invited from students of 3-year B.Sc./4-year B.S./5-year integrated M.Sc./M.S. courses opting for basic & natural sciences subjects viz

Scholarship Amount

3rd & 4th Year B.S./5th Year M.Sc./M.S Scholarship :
The amount of scholarships would be Rs. 4,000/ – P.M. for entire 3-year B.Sc. course, If the students take admission in 4-year B.S. or 5-year integrated M.Sc./M.S. then the amount of scholarship during 1st, 2nd & 3rd year will be Rs. 4,000/- P.M. and during 4th & 5th year Rs. 6,000/- P.M. subject to fulfillment of the eligibility conditions of the scheme.

Research Mentorship grant of Rs. 12,000/- in 3-year B.Sc. program, Rs. 17,000/- in 4-year B.S. program, Rs. 22,000/- in 5-year integrated M.Sc. program would be released to the concerned students after submitting the project report as per the guidelines of the scheme

2 Year M.Sc Scholarship :
The amount of scholarships would be Rs. 6,000/- P.M. for entire 2-year M.Sc. course subject to fulfillment of the eligibility conditions of the scheme.

Research Mentorship grant of Rs. 10,000/- (one time) for 2-year M.Sc. course would be released to the concerned students after submitting the project report and other documents as per the guidelines of the scheme.

Note : The amount of scholarships (semester-wise) will be released directly in to the bank accounts of the students through online bank transfer.

Terms & Conditions

The students have to ensure the following –
1. Submission of semester wise Detailed Mark Card (DMC)

a) Scholars are advised to submit their self attested semester Mark-sheets through their institute within one month after the announcement of semester results to facilitate the payment of scholarship.

b) If a scholar does not submit his/her semester mark-sheets the offer of scholarship shall be withdrawn.
c) Provisional or Internet copy of the Mark-sheets will not be considered.
d) The scholars are advised to submit the Actual Payee Receipts (APR) of the amount received.

2. Students having Compartment / Re-appear in semester examination will not be considered for further installment of scholarship.

3. In case of re-appear or below 60% marks in any of the semester, the future installments of scholarships of the student will be withheld / discontinued. Students clearing the re-appear in supplementary examinations will not be considered for continuation of scholarships.

In case of SGPA/SPI or any other index awarded by the university/institute, the conversion would be done as per university/institute approved formula.

In case such university/institute formula is not available the percentage will be derived by scaling down the SGPA/CPI by 10%. For example the SGPA/CPI is 6/10, the equivalent percentage would be taken as 6/10*0.9 = 54%.

4. Any change or re-admission to another College/ University/ Academic Institute within the same academic year is acceptable, provided the scholar pursues subjects out of identified 18 nos. subject(s).

The Offer would stand invalid in case this change or re-admission occurs in the next academic year and thereon, or subject(s) pursued is/ are beyond the 18 identified subjects.

In such a case, there will be no scope for restoration of the offer and no communication would be made separately to Scholar.

5. Make all the correspondence for this purpose to the Secretary, EC, Haryana State Council for Science & Technology (HSCST), Bays 35-38, Sector-2, Panchkula and should route the same through their college / university concerned.

6. The student selected under this scheme will not be entitled for any other scholarship.
