DST Haryana POSE Scholarship

Online applications are invited from students for scholarships available for pursuing graduate/post-graduate courses in basic & natural science subjects as specified in the scheme.

Eligibility

1. For 3-year B.Sc./4-year BS/5-year integrated M.Sc./M.S. in basic & natural science subjects, the students should have passed class X and XII Board examination from a school situated in Haryana with minimum 85% marks for Haryana Board School and 90% marks for other boards like CBSE/ICSE etc. in 12th class.

2. For 2-year M.Sc. in basic & natural science subjects, the student should have passed X, XII and B.Sc./B.A. (B.A. for M.Sc. Mathematics) from school/college/university situated in Haryana with minimum 75% marks in B.Sc./B.A. class.

3. Only regular students will be eligible to apply for this scholarship

Follow the below Procedure for submitting online application for POSE scholarship 2019-20.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Haryana Department of Science & Technology provided above and Click the link ‘Apply Online For Pose’ or directly go to the below mentioned link.

Step 2 : Click on New User option and Register your Login ID and Password for applying POSE scholarship.

Step 3 : Read guidelines for application acceptance, eligibility & requirements for submitting online application.
Step 4 : Fill all the columns given there and upload all required documents in the form.

Step 5 : Submit the form and you will get application reference No. for further communication. Please don’t send the application by post.

V. 12th Class Certificate*

VI. B.Sc./B.A. Class Certificate (mandatory for the students applying for 2-year M.Sc.)
VII. Enrollment Certificate from Head/Principal/Registrar/Director of the college/university/institute. (as per annexure-I)*

Number of Scholarship

(i) 3-year B.Sc./4-year BS/5-year Integrated M.Sc./M.S. courses – 150
(ii) 2-year M.Sc. course – 50 Chairman, EC has the right to select a student from a discipline in case the said discipline is not represented.

In case of tie preference will be given as under :
(a) Girl students will be preferred.
(b) Preference to language score better of (English/Hindi) in 12th class board.
(c) Student younger in age will be preferred.

Amount of Scholarships

(i) Rs. 4,000/- P.M. for 3-year B.Sc. course.
(ii) Rs. 6,000/- P.M. for 2-year M.Sc. course.

(iii) If the students take admission in 4-year B.S. or 5-year integrated M.Sc./M.S. then the amount of scholarship during 1st, 2nd & 3rd year will be Rs. 4,000/- P.M. and during 4th & 5th year Rs. 6,000/- P.M.

Terms & Conditions

** The applications submitted within the due date will be accepted.
** Don’t submit more than one application. Please ensure that the all columns of the application are correct before submitting.

** Wrongly filled up application or application with lack of essential documents will summarily be rejected.
** The applications received online will be scrutinized and a merit list will be prepared as per the criteria of the scheme.

** The scholarships will be disbursed directly to the students in their bank accounts through online (NEFT / RTGS).
** This scholarship will be given to the students studying basic & natural science in the identified 18 subjects.
** There is no limit of family income for availing benefits of this scholarship scheme.

Last Date

The web-portal will be open from 24th July, 2019 to 24th September, 2019 for submission of online applications.
