Scholarship Policy For Continuing Students For Academic Session 2019-20. DIT University always encourages scholarly aptitude and merit in Students.

In order to facilitate Scholarship among Students towards their Academic excellence, following Scholarships are awarded by University to existing meritorious students pursuing different programmes of the University.
Merit Based Scholarship Policy
Merit Based Scholarship Policy for Academic excellence :
Branch toppers-B.Tech- Scholarship for continuing years on Performance basis
** 1st topper An amount of Rs. 20000/- plus merit certificate.
** 2nd topper An amount of Rs. 15000/- plus merit certificate.
** 3rd topper An amount of Rs. 10000/- plus merit certificate.
Toppers- BArch- Scholarship for continuing years on Performance basis :
** 1st topper An amount of Rs. 20000/- plus merit certificate.
** 2nd topper An amount of Rs. 15000/- plus merit certificate.
** 3rd topper An amount of Rs. 10000/- plus merit certificate.
Toppers – B.Des, BPharm, BA, BSC, BCA and Branch :
Toppers of Diploma courses- Scholarship for continuing years on Performance basis.
** 1st topper An amount of Rs. 10000/- plus merit certificate.
** 2nd topper An amount of Rs. 7500/- plus merit certificate.
** 3rd topper An amount of Rs. 5000/- plus merit certificate.
CGPA Based Scholarship :
CGPA based Scholarship for continuing years – for BTech only (applicable for the students enrolled on or after 2017)
** Above 9.50 – CGPA 15% of Tuition fees as scholarship
** Between 9.00 to 9.49 – CGPA 10% of Tuition fees as scholarship

Scholarship For Overall Toppers
Scholarship for Overall Toppers in B.Tech combining all Branches (On the basis of CGPA) for continuing years for BTech Programme).
1. The First overall topper in B Tech across all branches (Year wise) will be awarded a scholarship of 100% of Tuition Fees of the applicable admission category.
2. The Second overall topper in B Tech across all branches (Year wise) will be awarded a scholarship of 50% of Tuition Fees of the applicable admission category.
3. The Third overall topper in B Tech across all branches (Year wise) will be awarded a scholarship of 25% of Tuition Fees of the applicable admission category.
4. Siddak Preet Singh Memorial Scholarship – The overall topper of B.Tech ECE upto 3rd year will be awarded a scholarship of Rs. 10000 along with Certificate.
5. Dr. K G Pandey Memorial Scholarship – The overall topper of B.Tech ME upto 3rd year will be awarded a scholarship of Rs. 10000 along with Certificate.
Terms & Conditions
The continuing student will be eligible for Scholarship subject to clearing the following conditions
a) Has cleared all the papers in First attempt.
b) Students with bracketed CGPA will get same benefits of the scholarship amount.
c) Has maintained Attendance in both the semesters of more than 85%.
d) For girl students who enrolled on or after 2017, Shri Naveen Agarwalji Scholarship for Girl Student will continue in addition provided the student obtains CGPA 8.5 and above every year, without any back paper.
e) Total of all scholarships are subject to maximum limit of applicable Tuition fees for the year.
f) Scores/Marks/Grades/Ranks as required for award of scholarship should be without any Back/Improvement/Supplementary papers.
g) In case of any dispute, the decision of the University would be final and binding.
h) All disputes are subject to Dehradun jurisdiction.
