Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics invites applications for the award of free studentship/Examination Fees to Scheduled Castes /Vimukta Jati Nomadic Tribes/Other Backward Class/Special Backward Classes for the year 2018-19.

The students who are interested in availing the Scholarship/Freeship are required to link their Aadhar card with Bank Account & Mobile Number, it is mandatory for Online Application.
Scholarship Online Application
Just follow the below steps to apply for the Scholarship/Freeship 2018-19.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Aaple Sarkar Maharashtra DBT Portal through the URL https://mahadbtmahait.gov.in/home/index
Step 2 : New User click on the “New Applicant Registration” link in the home page.
Step 3 : Next Enter your Aadhaar Number and Choose your Authentication Type then click on Send OTP button for verification
Step 4 : Fill the remaining details to complete your registration. After registration, you have to login with your registered Username and Password
Note :
** Click on Forgot Password, if you forgot your password entered while registration
** Click on Forgot User Name, if you forgot your User Name entered while registration
Step 5 : Select the scheme “Tuition Fees and Examination Fees to VJNT Students” under VJNT,OBC and SBC Welfare Departments category.
Step 6 : Then fill the required fields to apply for the scholarship. Applicant must check that all details provided by him/her are correct before final submission, as there will be no provision to edit details thereafter.
Forgot User Name/Password?
If User Forgot User Name / password then Click on Forgot User Name / Password section on the Home DBT page. Then the User has to select Authentication type Mobile number or Email id.
Step 1 : Enter registered mobile number or email and correct captcha code and click on submit button to get the OTP
Step 2 : The User will receive an OTP on registered mobile or email on after successful verification of entered details.
Step 3 : Enter the system generated OTP which has been send to registered mobile number or email. System validates the OTP, which has been send to registered mobile number or email.
Step 4 : Enter the New Password & Confirm Password and click on change Password.

Documents Required
The following documents are required for Reserve Category Students,
Reserve Category includes SC/ST/OBC/VJNT/SBC
1. Caste certificate – should be issued by competent authority
2. Domicile Certificate
3. Income certificate- should be issued by competent authority
3. HSC or SSC marksheet or last examination marksheet.
4. Nationalized Bank Account Details of student only (Bank Passbook & Cancelled Cheque)
5. Non Creamy Layer Certificate (OBC/SBC/VJNT)
6. Caste Validity Certificate (For Professional Courses As Per GR Dated 31st July 2008) Exempted Professional courses to be identified
7. Aadhaar Card
8. Ration Card
9. Fee Receipts
10. Ration card for identify number of children’s in family
11. Mobile No & Bank Account link form with aadhar card no.
12. Aadhaar card Seeding Form
13. Gap Certificate
Note :
Students who fail to give above documents are not eligible for Government Scholarship and need to pay full fees for that particular academic year.
Last Date
Last date to submit the application for Scholarship/Freeship is 25th January 2019.
