Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement GRAAM invites applications for GSP (GRAAM Scholar Program) 2019.

GSP Objective
Thus, the program has come over with a threefold objective
1. For intern : to provide a combined objective of providing a true grassroots experience blended with a participatory research model to the young scholars. Also, possibility of having a publication disseminated through GRAAM’s bulletin and annual publication.
2. For Grassroots organization : to support in documenting their work and helping them to deep routing their understanding about the issues of their community.
3. For GRAAM : the pilot studies will provide evidences from grassroots to take forward larger studies and evidence based advocacy.
GSP Eligibility
** Indian and International citizens.
** Post Graduate students in Social Sciences/Social Work/Development Management/Business Administration from national/international institution.
** Researchers and practitioners in development sector.
GSP Application Procedure
Just follow the below steps to apply for the GSP 2019.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of GRAAM provided above.
Step 2 : Read the instructions carefully before you are applying.
Step 3 : Then download the application form from the official website.
Step 4 : Fill the application with the required fields and mail it to internship [AT] graam.org.in or graam [AT] graam.org.in before the last date.
Documents Required
Scholar have to submit following enclosures with this form to be considered for the program with GRAAM.
(a) Statement of Purpose (SOP) indicating area of interest, relevant skills, experience and motivation for applying to this program need to be given by the Scholar. This should not be more than 500 words.
(b) Electronic version of CV
(c) Scanned Copy of Identify Proof
(d) Scanned copy of any of the following
** Bonafide Certificate issued by the institution, or
** Letters of Reference/Recommendation by an institutional authority, and
(e) Scanned copy of documentary proof about Educational Qualification (last year’s mark sheet/passing certificate)
(f) Letter for “Request for partial/full scholarship” (for the candidates who want to apply for it)

Program Expenditure

| 2 | Food and Accommodation (excluding program fees) | It should be taken care by the candidates. However, the organization will support the scholars to find appropriate accommodation near the organization. Roughly it will cost around INR 7,000/- (including food and stay at field area) |
Scholarship Support
GRAAM will provide partial scholarship to the needy and deserving candidates. The candidate has to submit a separate letter with a title “request for partial/full scholarship” along with the other documents. The discretion of awarding scholarship is completely rests with the organization.
Selection Process
Maximum 20 interns will be selected to undertake the course in a year. The program committee at GRAAM will take the final decision based on the documents submitted by the applicant. The scholars would be informed about their selection before 30th April, 2019.
