Nature of course

** Two candidates will be selected per year for the course.
** The course is planned for more specialized training in GI oncology after M.Ch./DNB in surgical oncology/gastroenterology or MS/DNB in general surgery.

This course is aimed at creating more refined and qualified professionals who would like to dedicate themselves in teaching and practice of GI oncology.

Eligibility

** The candidate should possess MCh/ DNB degree in Surgical Oncology MCh/DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology Or MS/DNB in General Surgery
** Candidate should have valid MCI registration certificate
** Candidates should not cross 35 years as on 1st July 2018.

Fellowship Curriculum

The fellowship must provide clinical and/or didactic exposure to the following
a) Gastrointestinal oncology b) Oncopathology
c) Radiation and medical oncology relevant to the field d) Research
e) Community Oncology

Fee & Stipend

Fees of Rs.30,000/- per annum will be levied and Rs.10,000/- will be the refundable caution deposit. Stipend of Rs. 47,000/- per month will be given for the first year and Rs.48,000/- for the second year.

Instructions

** Selection will be based on qualification and experience and performance in the written test/Interview.
** Claims in respect of Qualifications, Experience, etc. should be supported by copies of relevant documents;

** Candidates may be required to produce the originals at the time of Written Test/Interview.
** No TA/DA will be paid for the Interview/Written test.

** Candidate should have valid MCI/DCI registration certificate.
** Stipend of Rs.47,000/- per month for the first year and Rs.48,000 per month for the second year will be disbursed for non-sponsored candidates.
