MP Online NTSE

Applications are invited for State Level National Talent Search Examination NTSE 2018-19.

The National Talent Search Examination will be conducted for students studying at the Class X level.

Application Procedure

Just follow the below steps to apply for the NTSE 2018-19.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of MP Online website provided above.
Step 2 : Read the instruction carefully before filling the application form.

Step 3 : Download the Application Form from the official website or directly download it from below mentioned link.
Step 4 : Fill the application form with the required fields

Step 5 : Candidates are to submit the filled in application form through the Principals/Headmaster/Headmistress of the respective Schools and the same must be forwarded to DSEO/SDSEOs of their district on or before the last date.

Documents Required

Document to be submitted along with Application Forms:
a) Progress Report/Report Card of the last promotion examination
b) SC/ST Certificate for SC/ST candidates.
c) Disability Status Certificate from the Component Authority (for NTS/NMMS)

Exam Pattern

The examination consists of tests, namely Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The items in the MAT and SAT are multiple choice questions.

Stage-I (State Level) and Stage-II (National Level), however, the students studying abroad are exempted for State Level Stage-I of NTS examinations as per NTS Scheme.

Scholarship Amount

About One thousand scholarships are awarded for different stages of education as follows
(a) Scholarship of Rs.1250/- per month for Class-XI to XII.
(b) Scholarship of Rs.2000/- per month for Undergraduates and Post-graduates.
(c) Amount of Scholarship for Ph.D. be fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.

Type of School /Institution

Government :
A Government school is that which is run by the State Government or Central Government or Public Sector Undertaking or an Autonomous Organization completely financed by the Government.

Local Body :
A Local Body school is that which is run by Panchayati Raj and Local Body institution such as Zilla Parishad, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Committee and Notified Area Authority Committee and Cantonment Board.

Private Aided :
A Private Aided school is that which is run by an individual or a private organization and receives grant from Government or Local Body.

Private Unaided :
A Private Unaided School is that which is managed by an individual or a private organization and does not receive any grant either from Government or Local Body.

Instructions

1. Use A4 size paper for getting print out of application form.
2. This application form is meant for the students appearing at the State Level NTS examination conducted by each State/UT.

3. The Candidate/Principal of the School must confirm the last date for submission of Application Form and where to submit it, from the State/UT liaison officer, No. application should be sent to NCERT.

4. The candidate/Principal must deposit the application fee, if any, prescribed by state/union territory with the application form.

5. The candidate/Principal should leave the 4-digit Centre code blank, to be filled by the liaison officer/concerned district officer/Centre Superintendent.
6. Incomplete /wrongly filled in application forms are liable to be rejected.

7. Applicants are requested to refer/consult the application form, published by the States/UTs, for caste category reservation. Some options of Caste Category (Like OC, Other 1 and Other 2), given in the form are applicable for the State/UT only.

No reservation will be given against these categories by the NCERT in the national level examination.
