ASI ASICON Scholarship
ASI 11th National Conference of AIDS Society of India-ASICON 2018 to be held at Hotel ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru from 2nd – 4th November 2018.

The ASICON 2018 will feature plenary, debates, symposia, workshops, case presentations, and meet-the-expert sessions with leading clinical experts and researchers as faculty in the field of HIV/AIDS.
Eligibility
** ASI has devised an ambitious Scholarship Programme for PG students, junior doctors and young researchers to enable them to attend ASICON 2017 and be part of the HIV caring fraternity.
** Hence, applicants are encouraged to apply for ASI life-membership. Those in recommending position (like dept. heads) will not be eligible for this scholarship.
Note :
Priority will be given to applicants whose abstracts have been accepted for oral or poster presentation and for those nominated / selected by their Medical Colleges / Universities.
Preference will be given to those with demonstrated interests in HIV care and research, their worthiness to clinical practice / research, region they represent, ASI life members and nominees of ASI Governing Council members.
How to Apply?
Just follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the ASICON 2018 Scholarship.
Step 1 : Go to the official website of ASICON provided above and Click on the Register Now button in the home page.
Step 2 : Then Select your Registration Fee and Enter your Email address & password for registration.
Step 3 : After that fill your Personal Information, Contact Information and Accompanying Person details to complete your registration
Step 4 : If you have already registered, you can click login link in the Registration page. Then enter your Email Address and Password for Login.
Step 5 : If you don’t remember your password then enter your Email Address to reset your password.
Scholarship Awards
Scholarship award will cover partial or full expenditure – registration, travel by train (A/C III tier) or bus and/or shared stay during conference days at the venue hotel itself and meals.
Certificate of participation will be awarded only after three days of attendance in the conference. In email correspondence asi.asicon [AT] gmail.com, please mention ‘Scholarship’ in the subject line.
Note :
1. ASI decision will be communicated 30th August 2018 and will be uploaded on the website. Scholarship Committee’s decision will be final.
2. Those submitting abstracts and/ or applying for scholarship, it is advisable to book your tickets in IIIAC right away, to avoid inconvenience later.
3. Scholarships being limited in number, preference will be given to first time applicants, Oral and Poster presenters.
4. Those applicants, who have received scholarships twice from ASI will not be considered.
