Information About Scholarship Exam

There are three papers viz- Language, Intelligence Test and Mathematics – each of 100 marks. Duration of each paper in one hour. All papers are scheduled on the same day. (Usually on 2nd or 3rd Sunday in the month of February)

Syllabus

Scholarship STD V:
** Language : For English medium, in Language paper, all questions will be based on ‘English’. No Marathi questions.
** Mathematics & Social Sciences Mathematics : 70 marks, Social Sciences 30 Marks.
** Intelligence Test & Gen Science : I Test 70 Marks, Gen Science 30 Marks.
** Difficulty Level : (Same for all subjects)
** Difficult questions : 10%
** Questions with moderate difficulty level : 20%
** Simple questions : 70%

Scholarship STD VIII :
** Language : English : 80 Marks, Marathi 20 Marks.
** Mathematics & Social Sciences : Mathematics 70 marks, Social Sciences 30 Marks.
** Intelligence Test & Gen Science : I Test 70 Marks, Gen Science 30 Marks.
** Difficulty Level (Same for all subjects)
** Difficult questions : 30%
** Questions with moderate difficulty level : 30%
** Simple questions : 40%
** Passing criteria : Minimum 30 marks in each paper with minimum total of 140 marks in all three subjects. As per districtwise availability of sets, eligible students are given scholarships.
