How to Apply Online :
** Register through the UGC eSchemes Portal. Click on “New User” or Refer “Registration Process” Link for more details.
** Login to the UGC eSchemes Portal with the Login Id created in Step 1.
** After successful login one can click on the desired scheme link on the Schemes dashboard.
** Fill in the required details and attach the documents in the form and submit.
** On successful submission, an acknowledgement number will be provided.

Registration Process:
User Registration:UGC scheme Portal https://www.ugc.ac.in/) has provision of 7 types of users as mentioned below.

Registration of University Registrar, UGC officer, College Principal :
** Intended user access url https://www.ugc.ac.in/. Home page will appear as given below
** User clicks on link New User, it will redirect you to userRegistrationHelp page as shown in figure.
** From this page university registrar & College Principal may download authority letter format, fill it, get it signed.
** Once user clicks on Continue, user is redirected to userRegistrationPage as shown in figure
** User picks up his role from Role control, In case of university registrar & College Principal user id (AISHE code) is automatically populated from database.
** User enters/ selects required information and attaches required documents in the form. In case of UGC officer, he/she will enter his employee id.

Note:
1: * fields are mandatory.
2: All attachments must be in pdf format and size not more than one Mb.
3: In case of University Registrar/College Principal user id will be AISHE code of respected institution while in case of UGC officer employee id of UGC will be his user id e.g. C16663 and U0120 for college and university respectively. These are case sensitive.

** As user’s clicks on preview button, following message appears to his/her.
** After clicking on OK button, Data cannot be modified.
** User gets SMS/Email message regarding successful submission of Registration form.
** User should wait for the approval of the registration by UGC administrator.
** Once user registration is approved by respective admin, it becomes active and user will be able to login. SMS and email are sent to the user regarding approval of the registration.

Registration of University Administrator, College Administrator and Apex user :
User ids of University Administrator, College Administrator and apex user will be created and approved by UGC Admin.

** UGC Admin login using his id & password at https://www.ugc.ac.in/. After login Following page will appear
** UGC Admin clicks on User Management menu. Following page will appear
** To create new user, he/she clicks on New User Tab. Following page will appear
** Admin user selects role name, enters his name, email, mobile no, password. In case of college administrator he/she also selects state list & submit the details.
** User id will automatically populate press the submit Button.
** Admin user get confirmation message after registration.
** To view user id of particular role, UGC admin clicks respected tab, selects section and status (New Registration, Approved, Deactive), a list as given below appears.
** In case of new user, UGC admin can approve & edit the user.

Add/Edit College/University in Portal:
Submission of Institute Information:
** User clicks on Click here to enter details of his college. Following screen appears.
** User enters/selects all mandatory information & clicks on submit button. After this step institute becomes visible to UGC officer.
** Institute has not been added so far. Only Information of Institute has been submitted. Decision regarding addition/rejection is taken by C-admin/U-admin.
** After addition of institute name user will get intimation by email/sms. Now user may go for user registration

Approval/Edit of Institute by UGC Officer:
** College Administrator and University Administrator may add/edit/reject college/university respectively.
** After successful login College Administrator / University Administrator clicks on Colleges Pending for Addition to add/reject college, Edit College Name to edit name of the college in Master Management Menu.
** After user action a list of college will appear
** As user clicks on Add or Reject link institute information becomes visible to C-admin
** College Administrator can approve/rejects college based on information visible to him. In case of rejection College Administrator enters reason of rejection.
** As soon as College Administrator approves college name, college is added in College list & intimation of same fires to reported user by SMS/Email.
** If College Administrator clicks on Edit college name following screen will appear
** To edit College Name College Administrator clicks on edit, enters new name of college & press Update
** In a similar manner, University Administrator can add/ rejects, edit the name of University.

Forgot User ID/Password:
** In case user forgets his login details, he can recover it by clicking Forgot Login Details?
** As soon as user clicks it, he is redirected to forgetPasswordPage as shown in figure below.
** To recover password user has to enter login id & to recover user id user has to enter his email id submitted at the time of registration.
** As soon as user enters captcha and press submit, password/login id is sent to his registered mobile number.
