Scholarship:

1) The renewal of scholarship will depend on promotion to the next class provided the scholar secures passing marks in aggregate in the semester/annual examination which determines his promotion to the next class.

2) Sanctioning of scholarship will be subject to discipline and maintenance of attendance by the scholar.

3) Preference will be given to widow’s children, Orphan child, children of single parent belonging to Memon community.

4) First priority will be given to economically backward widow women children, we will also support students who have already been supported in past.

5) If a scholar is unable to appear in annual examination due to some illness or on account of unforeseen event, the scholarship will be renewed for the next academic year but it will be based on submission of medical certificate and other proof to satisfy the higher authority.

6) If students have got an ATKT( Allowed to keep term), they will be called for an interview and based on the interview the final decision will be taken.

7) If a scholar gives up the chosen course of study before its completion , or change the course of study, or even in case if the student is expelled from the institution on disciplinary or academic grounds , the scholarship will be cancelled.

8) The scholarship will be awarded only in cheques or drafts form favoring the respective institutes where the scholar is seeking admission. The cheques on personal name will issued only when the student had informed the trust about the immediate payment for securing admission in the respective institute.

9) The institutes need to be reputable institutes approved or accredited by AICTE( All India Council Of Technical Education), NAAC( National assessment accreditation council), or have UGC( University Grants Commission) grants.

10) Scholars will be evaluated on their extra-curricular interests and achievements.

11) The students will be assisted with their tuition fees, institute fees, but hostel and food expenses will be given depending on the case.

12) The children of widow or single mother will also be assisted for transport and books expenses considering the fact that they have no source of income.

13) Students will be interviewed by our counsellors and psychologists based on the report from them will decide upon whether the candidate is appearing for appropriate course and based on testing, the scholarship will be awarded.

14) Student getting scholarship from any other source would not be eligible for the scholarship. In case if the fees amount is high and the trust is not able to support for the high amount then only it will be accepted.

15) The amount and nature of scholarship will be fixed by the committee.

16) The trust is not bound to sanction scholarship every year and decision will be taken depending upon the fund position of the trust.

17) The scholar needs to provide relevant documents in case of incomplete form, the form will be sent back and those applications will be accepted after completion of relevant documents.

18) The entire scholarship process is need base program.

Note:
In case if student is deserving and is not fulfilling the marks criteria, the case will betransferred to special section for detail scrutiny.

19) Please note that Aptitude, Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Interest, Personality test is to guide the student for best career option. Aptitude testing does not GUARANTEE of SCHOLARSHIP.

20) Applications of such students shall not be considered who intends to/are pursuing their degree courses from cities other than their hometown when such courses can be pursued in their city. They are not entitled for any help from the Natani Charitable Trust.

21) Nathani Charitable Trust (NCT) believes that after the basic professional (i.e. Engineering /Medical) degree a person is capable of earning very decent amount. Hence he/she is not eligible to receive NCT scholarship; however there are some exceptional cases where if the student is found super meritorious and found eligible through NCT criteria’s such students are encouraged for further studies.

22) References or recommendation will not be entertained.

Application form along with following documents should reach NCT office as on or before mention date.

Nathani Charitable Trust (NCT) believes that after the basic professional (i.e. Engineering /Medical) degree a person is capable of earning very decent amount. Hence he/she is not eligible to receive NCT scholarship;however there are some exceptional cases where if the student is found super meritorious and found eligible through NCT criteria’s such students are encouraged for further studies.

Note:
In case, result are not declared before the last date of submission of application form the application will be automatically eligible for 15 days grace period. Message of delayed result should be informed to the NCT office.
