IAFBA Subroto Memorial Scholarship Scheme 2015-16 :

1. The scholarship schemes are managed and administered by the Executive Committee of the IAF Benevolent Association.

2. The application form duly completed in all respects is to be sent to the Secretary, IAF Benevolent Association, AFGIS Bhavan, Subroto Park, New Delhi – 110010 so as to reach this office by 30 Sep (R) 30 Sep. However, application for Under Graduate Professional courses (MBBS/BE/BTech) only can be submitted upto 31 Oct (R) 31 Oct each year.

3. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be considered. No intimation in this regard will be made. The candidate is not entitled for scholarship if he/she is already in receipt of any other scholarship.

4. Any point for clarification that may arise are to be referred to the Secretary of the IAF Benevolent Association. The decision of the Executive Committee on the award of scholarship will be final.

5. Continuation of scholarship will be made at the end of each year on receipt of attested marksheet, acknowledgement from the parent and certificate from School/College showing that the student is not in receipt of any other scholarship or stipend, the scholarship will be forwarded every year in January/February to the parent of the student.

6. Children of deceased/retired AF personnel are eligible to apply only if parents are in receipt of pension.

7. The child should be a regular student in a school/college/institution recognised by Central/State Board or University.

8. A child should secure minimum 60% for continuation of scholarship (45% in case of school going children of Serving NCs(E)).

9. The category of applicants i.e. (serving, Retired, Deceased AF Personnel) will be determined on the category as on 01 Oct every year.

10. If no intimation received by the applicant it is construed that his/ her ward has not come into the merit list.

11. Merit List will be published on IAFBA webpages under ‘welfare’ link of www.indianairforce.nic.in and on www.iafba.iaf.in after finalisation of scholarship.
