Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad (TBSP), a registered society under the Telangana Societies Registration Act, 2001, is keenly interested in the social, educational and economic development and welfare of Brahmin Community in the Telangana State.

Overview

Brahmin community is the torch-bearer of ancient Indian culture and engages itself in conducting several activities like Pravachanams, Paarayanams, Sankeerthanams, Saptahams, Satsangams, festive occasions and marriages/ other auspicious functions throughout the year.

However, such activities require construction and setting up of community and cultural centres and dedicated infrastructure.

Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad hereby proposes “Viprahitha Brahmin Sadan Scheme” to establish centres of cultural, religious, spiritual and community-specific activities for the benefit of Telangana Brahmins.

Guidelines

** A maximum of Seventy Five per cent of the construction cost as financial assistance will be sanctioned under this Scheme for setting up of Brahmin Sadans at District/ Mandal/ important urban/semi-urban centres in any of the 31 districts of Telangana.

** A committee headed by an officer of the rank of Chief Engineer will inspect the proposed land and submit report to the Executive Committee for taking an appropriate decision.

Mandatory Requirements

** About One Acre of land with clear title. However, the Executive Committee may review the norm in certain exceptional cases after perusing the report of Chief Engineer
** The land of the proposed Brahmin Sadan shall be registered in favour of Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad

Procedure for Selection

Sanction :
** The sanction shall be made by the Executive Committee at the State level.
** The Chairman is authorised to make exceptions while sanctioning of the Brahmin Sadan or the subsidy as the case may be depending upon the merit of the case and his decision will be final.

Aasara Pension Scheme :
Schemes implemented as social security nets are meant for protecting the needy and vulnerable by providing a means to live a life of dignity and alleviating immediate distress. Telangana Brahmin community too requires such an assistance to combat the ever-increasing cost of living and inflation.

Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad will facilitate the persons belonging to Brahmin Community, who are otherwise eligible, to avail the Aasara Scheme as per the existing norms set by the Government.
