Duration :
Six months probationary period + 3 years
Eligibility :
Masters degree in respective subject with 60% aggregate marks.
Admissions :
Based on marks obtained in the past academic records, publication and research experience the candidates will be short – listed for written test /interview.
Fees:
For General category :
Rs. 52,000 ( At the time of admission: Rs 16,000, After registration: I installment – Rs. 12,000; II installment – Rs. 12,000; III installment – Rs. 12,000)
For Foreign/NRI category: (in US Dollars)
4500$ (I installment – 1500$; II installment – 1500$; III installment –1500$)
Scholarship – Scholarship amount per candidate:
Six months Probationary period : Rs. 14,000 per month
First year: Rs. 16,000 per month
Second year: Rs. 17,000 per month
Third year: Rs. 18,000 per month
Application :
Candidates should download the application form, complete it in all respects and send it to Admissions Office, Manipal University, Manipal – 576104 along with a demand draft for Rs.600 drawn in favour of ‘Manipal University’ payable at Manipal/Udupi and the following enclosures:
** Attested copy of the degree certificate of qualifying examinations
** Attested copies of the marks cards of qualifying examinations
** Any other relevant documents
Please mention the “Institute/College to which the candidate wishes to apply” and “Research code” in the boxes provides. Research codes may be downloaded by clicking on the respective disciplines above. If a candidate wants to apply for more than one college, separate application forms should be submitted.
Important Dates :
** Last date for receipt of applications is 31st March 2017
** The programme will commence from 30th June 2017
AICTE SCHOLARSHIP :
AICTE has introduced the scheme on tuition fee (course fees includes tuition and other fees) waiver for economically backward students enrolled to BTech courses. The proposed scheme will be applicable only to the students with parents’ annual income (from all sources) less than Rs 6 lakhs. AICTE scholarships are subject to availability and will not exceed 5% of the total intake.
As the number of scholarship has been considered based on the intake of the particular BTech branch, if any student changes the branch in the second year then he/she is not eligible for the scholarship. Separate merit list based on MU-OET 2017 rank of the eligible candidates under this scheme will be announced in website.
In pursuance of the policy framework for promotion of post graduate education and research in Engineering & Technology of MHRD, AICTE provides financial assistance to the GATE qualified students enrolled for MTech/MPharm courses.
