LPUNEST Scholarship Test :
Lovely Professional University is conducting National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST-2017) for B.Tech aspirants. Students studying in 12th class can apply for LPUNEST-2017. LPUNEST was started in 2009 and became one of the largest entrance tests in India just in 5 years with approximately 3 lakh students registering for the test in 2014

Registrations for LPUNEST-2017 will begin from 15 Nov 2016 onwards. The Test will be conducted in online mode (Pen and Paper Mode test is not allowed) as per the schedule (to be announced soon) This test will have twofold advantage as it will act as Eligibility Test as well as Scholarship Test.
Eligibility Test:
LPUNEST-2017 will provide a gateway to all engineering programmes in LPU and will act as Entrance test for admission in Engineering Programmes at LPU.

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST-2017
Qualifying Examination:
Applicants appearing for LPUNEST-2017 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2017, in final examination of 10 + 2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.
Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination:
** For admission in B.Tech, B.Tech. (Hons.), Integrated B.Tech – M.Tech and Integrated B.Tech – MBA applicant should Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017
** For B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech. (BT – Food Process Engineering), B.Tech. Biotechnology (Hons.), Integrated B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT) – M.Tech., Integrated B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT) – MBA and Integrated B.Tech. (BT – Food Process Engineering) – MBA Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, English & Maths or Biology or Biotechnology; other things remaining same as above.
** For B.Tech. Chemical Engineering (CHE), B.Tech. (CHE – Petroleum), Integrated B.Tech. Chemical Engineering (CHE) – MBA and Integrated B.Tech. (CHE – Petroleum) – MBA Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English; other things remaining same as above.

LPU envisages to usher an era of accessible and affordable quality higher education to the youth of our country, as on the basis of LPUNEST-2017 score, the university intends to award extensive Scholarship upto 7.5 lac per student.
Students admitted through LPUNEST -2017 may avail Scholarship on basis of any of the following:
On The basis of performance in LPUNEST – 2017 :
‘Top 35% applicants’ appearing for LPUNEST (subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017), will be eligible for Scholarship upto 1.5 Lac per annum (i.e upto 7.5 lac in case of 5 years integrated Programme and 6 Lac in case of 4 years for B.Tech. programmes).
