National Talent Search Exam :

First Stage National Talent Search Examination (NTSE)-2017 which will be held on 13.11.2016 (Sunday) for the students presently studying in class X in Govt., Govt Aided and Unaided recognized Pvt. schools including KVS,JNV,NDMC. etc. under the jurisdiction of Delhi.

The selected students will be nominated for the second stage national talent search examination to be conducted by NCERT

Eligibility Criteria :
The students who have secured 60% marks in class IX for general category & 55% marks for reserved Category in the session 2015-16. No income limit is Prescribed

2 Submission of Application 22.08.2016 to 09.09.2016
3 Roll No. will be issued from Sc. Branch Bv Post 25.10.2016 to 05.11.2016
4 Date or Exam 13.11.2016 (Sunday) & 27.11.2016 (Sunday)

Instruction :
1. Use only Blue or Black – Ball Point Pen. WRITE IN CAPITAL LETTERS. Do not mark or write outside the boxes.
2. Leave one box blank between two words. Limit your name and address within the space provided for it. Please see example given below.
3. Cross (X) only one of the appropriate boxes in item no. 3,4,5,6,9,10 and 21. For Serial No.5 & 6 attachment of certificate is must.

5. Incomplete or defective applications-cum-admit cards will be rejected.
6. Students can not scratch/alter/change an incorrect answer once marked on OMR Sheet, by using white fluid/ eraser/ blade/tearing/wearing or in any other form,
7. Students have to retain Question Booklet after exam.

8. Students must reach the examination centre at least half an hour before the commencement of the examination and occupy the seat that bears his/her Roll Number, it is also advised to Visit the exam centre one day before the examination.

9. DO NOT take the calculator, mathematical table, cell phone or any other kind of ready reckoner in the examination hall.
10. The examination will be conducted in three sessions on the same day.

11. You have to take the examination in THREE PARTS: part-I: is confined to the Mental Ability Test (MAT) consisting of SO compulsory questions, part-u: of Language (English or Hindi) So questions, Part-Ill: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) consisting of 100 compulsory questions from eight subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Civics & Economics)

12. Time for Part-I is 45 minutes, for Part-H is 45 minutes and for Part-III is 90 minutes.
13. Each question carries 1(one) mark.

14. All questions in the booklets are objective type. For each question FOUR possible answers are given, but only one is correct. Your task is to find out the correct answer and mark your choice in the Answer Sheet (OMR) only in correct way.

15. Record your answer using the blue/black ball point pen. You have to indicate your answer on the OMR Sheet by darkening the circle on the serial number of the correct alternative. No cutting/erasing/rubbing is allowed on the OMR Sheet in any form.

  1. I have a form given by school. Is this form allow me to give exam & what is the timings? Please answer.

  2. I have not got my admit card yet. How should I come and from where should I get it?
