Scholarships FAQs:

Can an applicant register with different email ids?:
No, it is preferable to register with a single email id to allow us to interact better. Each registration costs Rs. 500, single registration is preferred.

Can the form be downloaded and sent by post?:
No. The form needs to be submitted online only. It cannot be sent by post.

Is it mandatory to register in order to fill in the application form?:
Yes, online registration is mandatory to proceed with the application.

Does one also attach documents with the application form?:
No, documents are required to be attached at this stage. Only after the first level of screening shortlisted applicants will be asked to upload attested copies of the documents for verification.

In the course of filling the application form, can one make changes to the application form?:
Yes. One does have the option of saving the application form and completing the application process later or making changes to the information entered. To use this option, you need to click on the Save button. However, once you submit your application, you will not be allowed to review your application.

Will it be possible to get a copy of the application form?:
Yes. Once you submit the application form, you will receive an E-mail confirmation with the copy of the form. You can also use your log in credentials and view your completed application form. Student Log in remains active even after submitting the application form.

What are the documents required at the second stage of screening?:
Only candidates shortlisted for the second stage will be required to produce the following documents:

1. Attested copies of the mark sheets of Xth, XIIth, and all years of the under-graduation study
2. Attested copies of score cards of any qualifying examination taken. (Eg. GRE, GMAT, CAT, GATE etc..)
3. Copy of the admission letter 4. Reference letters 5. Statement of course fee 6. Any other document indicating receipt of any other funding, fee waiver etc.

What is the amount payable for the application process?:
The application fee for the postgraduate scholarship programme is Rs. 500/- which is non-refundable under any circumstances.

What is the mode of payment?:
The application fee is payable online using a debit/ credit card and netbanking.

How are the candidates informed?:
Only shortlisted candidates are intimated about their selection. Due to high volume of application we regret our inability to respond individually to the candidates who have not been shortlisted.

Are the candidates reimbursed for their travel and accommodation for the Scholarship Interviews?:
No. The candidates are not reimbursed for their travel and accommodation for the Scholarship Interviews.

How do I save information across grids? :
In order to save all the details entered one needs to click on the Save button. For tables where you have the option of entering multiple entries, one must click on Add New after every entry to Save the details entered.
