Scholarships To B.Voc Aspirants :

Scholarships are financial aid to deserving candidates, based on a pre-decided criteria to advance student’s interest in completion of the course. Scholarships also aim to motivate the existing & future enrolments.

ATDC Scholarships are instituted to help those who are talented, creative and those who deserve best in Technical Education & Training but don’t have the means. ATDC believes in rewarding the excellence achieved by meritorious students in academic endeavors.

1. Means-cum-Merit Based Scholarship for B.Voc Aspirants :
This scholarship is for young talented aspirants for admissions to B.Voc Programmes. ATDC proposes to announce 2 such Scholarships (1 Full & 1 Half) in every ATDC. This is applicable to 1st Year B.Voc/ 1040 hr AVI Courses only.
a) Candidates securing above 75% aggregate in 10+2 (CBSE, ICSC, State Board examination) are eligible to apply for Full Scholarship.
b) Candidates securing above 65% and less than 75% aggregate in 10+2 (CBSE, ICSC, State Board examination) are eligible to apply for Half Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for application to Means-cum-Merit Scholarship:
The candidates who fulfil the following criteria may apply for the ATDC’s Means-cum-Merit scholarship/ Free-ships Schemes.

1. The candidate’s parental income from all the sources should not exceed Rs.5 lakhs per annum.
2. All the eligible candidates may apply for Means-cum-Merit Scholarships/Free-ships Scheme with overall minimum 65% marks.
3. Candidates will have to submit an undertaking with the Application Form to the effect that the scholarship may be withdrawn and penalty imposed if the documents submitted as income proof are found to be false after verification (Format-II).
4. The candidates getting any other financial assistance/ reimbursement towards expenditure on education from any other source viz. Central/ State Govt./ PSU/ Trusts/ private persons etc. shall not be eligible to apply the Means-cum-Merit Scholarships/Free-ships Scheme.
5. If the number of candidate goes beyond the grant/budget given by the AEPC/ ATDC the Scholarship/ Free-ship will be given on the basis of higher merit holder and the candidates whose parental income is the lowest, will get the priority.
6. This scheme is applicable in ATDCs where the batch strength is at least 15 students or more in a B.Voc Programme.

2. Merit Based Scholarships for B. Voc Students:
** Merit based Scholarship is for B.Voc students with the aim to encourage excellence in Vocational Education and bring about overall reduction in drop-outs due to financial reasons. ATDC proposes to announce 12 Merit Scholarships (3 in every region).
** Students securing above 75% aggregate in the 1st Year/ 2nd Year of B.Voc courses are eligible to apply for Full Scholarship and
** Students securing above 65% and less than 75% aggregate in 1st Year / 2nd Year of B. Voc courses are eligible to apply for Half Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for application to Merit Scholarship:
The ATDC B.Voc Students who fulfill the following criteria may apply for the Merit Scholarship/ Free-ships Schemes.
1. The student’s parental income from all the sources should not exceed Rs. 5.00 lakhs per annum.
2. All the eligible students may apply Merit Scholarships/Free-ships Scheme with overall minimum 65% marks.
3. Students will have to submit an undertaking with the Application Form to the effect that the Scholarship may be withdrawn and penalty imposed if the documents submitted as income proof are found to be false after verification (Format-II).
4. The student involved in any major or minor disciplinary violation, he/she should not be eligible for Merit Scholarships/Free-ships Scheme during his/her remaining course.
5. The students getting any other financial assistance/ reimbursement towards expenditure on education from any other source viz. Central / State Govt./ PSU/ Trusts/ private persons etc. shall not be eligible to apply the Merit Scholarships/Free-ships Scheme.
6. If the number of student goes beyond the grant/budget given by the AEPC/ATDC the Scholarship/ Free-ship will be given on the basis of higher merit holder and candidates whose parental income is the lowest, will get the priority.
