Central Sponsored Scholarship Scheme:

Online Applications for Central Sponsored Scholarship Schemes for the Session 2016-17 are invited at the National Scholarship Portal website, from the students of the State, belonging to ST/SC / OBC Category studying in any Govt. / Govt.-Aided / Private Affiliated Institution, within or outside the state, for award of Scholarship, under various Centrally Sponsored Scholarship Schemes being implemented by the Education Department

National Scheme of Incentive to Girls for Secondary Education (NSIGSE) (CSS), Pre-Matric Scholarship Schemes to SC and ST (CSS) and Post- Matric Scholarship Schemes to SC / ST / OBC students (CSS), Up gradation of Merit of SC Students (CSS), Post Matric Scholarship for Student With disabilities (CSS), to encourage them to improve their Merit / Performance in studies.

Submission of Scholarship Applications Forms through National Scholarship Portal (NSP):
Last Date of Registration / Submission of Online Scholarship Application by the Students (studying within or outside the state) 31st August,2016

Instructions:-
Aadhaar Card is mandatory to apply for various types of Scholarship Schemes.
I. The Performa for Aadhaar seeding to the students will be available on hp e-Pass Portal, which must he filled and submitted by the students, in his/her concerned Institutions and Institutions, has to submit that format in the concerned Bank of the student’s. The whole liability and responsibility will be fived on Insitutions to weed/link students Bank Account number with his/her Aadhaar Number.

II. Students must fill up Bank Account Number in his/her application form, which is seeded/linked with his/her Aadhaar Number.

III. This is come to the notice of Directorate of Higher Education, HP that under the meritorious scholarship scheme run by this Department, all meritorious students can not apply for the scholarship schemes. It is the duty of Heads of Institutions/ e-pass In-charege to trace out the eligible meritorious students and applied by them, according to the Merit list, which is available on the Department Portal.

V. All Heads of Institutions of Govt./Private Institution(s)//n-charge(s) are directed to submit the Estimate proposal, Categories wise separately (as per the format available on the Portal) under the Post Matric SC, STand OBC Scholarship Schemes in this Directorate before 15th August, 2016 for the year 2016-17 through Hard copy, other wise Institutions will be fully responsible for lapes of Scholarship.
