The Project:
YES FOUNDATION Social Film Grant in association with UNDP India is a competitive film production fund for exceptionally talented emerging filmmakers to make 1-minute Public Service Films on Sustainable Development Goals.

What are Sustainable Development Goals?:
** The Sustainable Development Goals are aimed to provide a unified focus to global development initiatives, directly impacting the wellbeing of our planet and its inhabitants. Here is an overview of SDGs.
** YES FOUNDATION Social Film Grant aims to entertain, educate and engage people with the Sustainable Development Goals through your 1-minute Public Service Film!

Process:
** Send us the story of your 1-minute Public Service Film accompanied by a visual description
** Ten shortlisted applicants will be invited for a 3-day Mentorship Lab in Mumbai to be mentored by acclaimed experts from advertising, media and entertainment
** Network with the best professionals in the business and fellow emerging filmmakers. Receiving feedback on your project
** Hone your skills and expand your horizon

** Applicants attending the Mentorship Lab will get the opportunity to work closely with an assigned mentor for two days to refine their concepts for a live Jury Pitch. On the third day of the Mentorship Lab applicants will make a pitch presentation to an expert Jury panel. Applicants (from outside Mumbai) will receive a fixed allowance towards travel and accommodation.

** The Jury will select up to four projects to be commissioned based on their outstanding potential to communicate a message, creative merit, universality of subject matter and technical and financial feasibility. Grant winners will receive upto INR 4 lakh each to make their films.
