Scholarship Award Programme :

The aim of the Stonehill International School Scholarship Award programme is to foster and celebrate academic excellence. Scholarships are awarded to candidates who demonstrate outstanding academic ability, based on aptitude and potential.

Scholarships are awarded at the following grade levels:
** Grade 9 / M4 / Age 14+
** Grade 10 / M5 / Age 15+
** Grade 11 / D1 / Age 16+

Scholarship Categories:
** Scholarship Awards with a tuition fee discount of 50% to 100% of the published day fee.
** Scholarship Awards with a boarding fee discount of 50%
** Honorary Scholarship Awards with no tuition or boarding fee discount.

Scholarships Details:
** Awards are determined in open competition at a fixed level set by the school and are non-negotiable.
** Awards are made at the discretion of the Head of School.
** The number of scholarship awards can vary from year to year depending upon the caliber of candidates who apply.
** All Scholarship Awards are reviewed by the Secondary Principal and the Coordinators on a quarterly basis to assure that attainment and commitment are being maintained at the standard expected of an academic scholar.
** Scholarship Awards may be withdrawn at any time if a scholar does not maintain the expected standards.
** A Stonehill Scholarship is a prestigious award and unashamedly targets the very best scholars. As a step to an excellent university it is of significant benefit to a student.

Who May Apply :
** Scholarship awards are open to students of all nationalities, including current students of Stonehill. Students who apply for M4 must be 14+ years old by 1st September 2016. Students who apply for M5 must be 15+ years old by 1st September 2016.
** Students who apply for D1 must be 16+ years of age by 1st September 2016. Students who have a parent or guardian employed by a company that normally pays or reimburses their employees’ school fees are only eligible to apply for an Honorary Scholarship Award.
** Students who have a parent or guardian who is a member of the Education Leadership Team of Stonehill are ineligible.

Scholarship Application Process:
** Completion of Application Form.
** Scholarship Assessment Day for long listed candidates.
** Interview with Principal and MYP or DP Coordinator for shortlisted candidates.
** Scholarship Awards announced.

** Invitations for Assessment Day: 18th January 2016
** Scholarship Assessment Day: 30th January 2016
** Interviews for shortlisted candidates: 6th February 2016
