Scholarships and Fees – Undergraduate Programs :
** SNU strongly believes in nurturing and encouraging the brightest minds to transform them into lifelong learners and leaders. To acknowledge such high potential academic achievers, SNU offers generous scholarships to all the students enrolled in Undergraduate programs at the University covering part/full expenses for the entire duration of the program.
** All undergraduate (Bachelor) programs at SNU are for 4 years (8 semesters) duration.

SNU scholarships for the Academic Session beginning 2015 are structured as below along with the Fees components :
** B.Sc. (Research) Biotechnology
** B.Sc. (Research) Chemistry
** B.Sc. (Research) Physics
** B.Sc. (Research) Mathematics

Note :
Continuation of Scholarship is dependent on consistently high academic performance. Students are expected to meet pre-defined academic standards including minimum CGPA of 6.00. For details, please refer to Undergraduate Student Handbook 2015.

For scholarship recipients :
The students availing these scholarships will be required to meet the academic and non-academic performance criteria for each semester. For details on requirements, please refer to the Undergraduate Student Handbook 2015.

In the interest of maintaining high Academic Standards, Shiv Nadar University takes this criteria very seriously and students are advised to concentrate on studies right from the time they join the University.

If a student fails to fulfill the scholarship continuation criteria, he/she would be required to pay full fees for the rest of the program. The scholarship is reinstated in case the student manages to bring up their scores above the continuation criteria in the subsequent semesters. The scholarship does not include courses taken beyond the prescribed curriculum or courses that may be repeated if not cleared in the first attempt. Course taken over and above the required credits will be charged for separately AT – 5,000 per credit.

The hostel, tuition, mess and laundry fees for Summer Semesters (if required) will be payable over and above the fees given here. Summer charges are as follows :
** Hostel – 11,000
** Mess – 7,000
** Laundry – 700

In the interest of creating an egalitarian institution, the hostel configuration is pre-decided for all undergraduate programs as given below and cannot be changed :
** 1st year : 4 students in a room
** 2nd year : 2 students in a room
** 3rd year : 2 students in a room
** 4th year : Single occupancy

A Hostel room may be upgraded or downgraded by the University based on rooms availability. In the event of a room upgrade there is no extra charge, whereas if a room is downgraded the student will pay lower charge applicable to that room type.
