What is SML Mahindra Unnati Scholarship Program?

The SML Unnati Scholarship 2026-27 aims to support meritorious girl students pursuing undergraduate degree, diploma, or polytechnic programs in any academic year in STEM and core engineering disciplines. The scholarship aims to encourage greater participation of women in technical, industrial, and manufacturing-related fields. Last date of application is 21st October 2026.

Eligibility of SML Mahindra Unnati Scholarship Program

** Open to girl students pursuing an undergraduate degree, diploma, or polytechnic programs (any year) in STEM disciplines and core engineering fields, at recognised institutions across India.
** The applicant must be the daughter of a driver of a heavy or light commercial road transport vehicle for carrying goods or a large passenger transport vehicle like a bus.
** Applicants must have passed the previous semester/academic year.
** Applicants must have secured at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA/grade) in the previous academic year.
** Annual family income from all sources must not exceed INR 6,00,000.
** Applications are invited from across India.
** Children of employees of SML Mahindra and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

Amount of SML Mahindra Unnati Scholarship Program

Selected students will receive a scholarship of INR 30,000 for UG, Diploma, or Polytechnic Students under the SML Unnati Scholarship.

** Click the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
** Fill in the required details in the online application form.
** Upload the relevant documents.
** Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click ‘Preview’.
** If all the details are correct in the preview, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete your application.

** Current academic year admission proof (College ID card, admission letter, bona fide certificate issued by the institute confirming current enrolment, or latest fee receipt)
** Previous academic year marksheet
** Fee receipts and fee structure from the institution
** Driving licence of the parent who is a driver of a heavy or light commercial road transport vehicle for carrying goods or a large passenger transport vehicle like a bus
** NSQF certificate/vocational course completion certificate (if applicable)
** Parental income certificate/ITR issued by a competent authority
** Bank account details (copy of passbook or cancelled cheque in applicant’s name or joint account with parent)
** Supporting documents for special category applicants, if applicable (e.g., disability certificate, death certificate, transgender certificate, or orphan certificate), to ensure equitable consideration
