What is SML Mahindra Saarthi Scholarship Program?

The SML Saarthi Scholarship 2026-27 aims to support meritorious girl students studying in Classes 11 and 12 (any stream). The scholarship is designed to help daughters of drivers of heavy and light commercial road transport vehicles for carrying goods, and large passenger transport vehicles like buses, continue their higher secondary education without financial constraints. Last date of application is 21st October 2026.

Eligibility of SML Mahindra Saarthi Scholarship Program

** Open to girl students studying in Class 11 or Class 12 (any stream) at recognised schools across India.
** The applicant must be the daughter of a driver of a heavy or light commercial road transport vehicle for carrying goods or a large passenger transport vehicle like a bus.
** Applicants must have passed the previous academic year.
** Applicants must have secured at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA/grade) in the previous academic year.
** Annual family income from all sources must not exceed INR 6,00,000.
** Children of employees of SML Mahindra and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

Amount of SML Mahindra Saarthi Scholarship Program

Selected students will receive a scholarship of INR 10,000 for Class 11 or Class 12 Students under the SML Saarthi Scholarship.

** Driving licence of the parent who is a driver of a heavy or light commercial road transport vehicle for carrying goods or a large passenger transport vehicle like a bus
** NSQF certificate/vocational course completion certificate (if applicable)
** Parental income certificate/ITR issued by a competent authority
** Bank account details (copy of passbook or cancelled cheque in applicant’s name or joint account with parent)
