What is TVS Cheema Degree/Nursing Financial Assistance?

The TVS Cheema Financial Assistance Program 2026 for degree courses is an initiative by TVS Cheema Scholarship Foundation aimed at providing financial assistance to students domiciled in Tamil Nadu or Karnataka. It offers financial assistance to students applying for undergraduate engineering or nursing at accredited universities or institutes. Last date of application is 31st August 2026.

Eligibility of TVS Cheema Degree/Nursing Financial Assistance

** Candidates must be domiciled in Tamil Nadu or Karnataka.
** Candidates must be applying for, or have already applied to, an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Nursing at accredited institutions in Tamil Nadu or Karnataka.
** Only students admitted through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling or KCET. Common Entrance Test (KCET/COMEDK, etc.) for engineering courses and students admitted through merit for nursing courses are eligible to apply.
** Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in Class 12 (for undergraduate engineering degree/Nursing).
** The total annual family income of candidates from all sources should not exceed INR 8 lakh for engineering students and INR 5 lakh for nursing students.

Note:
** Students admitted through the management quota are not eligible for financial assistance.
** Financial assistance recipients are expected to give back to the community as a meaningful way to acknowledge and honour the support they have received.
** This is to inform you that you may start filling out your application for financial assistance. However, please ensure that you submit your application only after securing admission to a Degree course for the Academic Year 2026–27.

Awards of TVS Cheema Degree/Nursing Financial Assistance

Financial assistance will be awarded to the final selected students. The financial assistance fund can be used solely for academic expenses, including tuition fees, hostel and mess charges, and applicable transportation costs.

Steps:

Step-2: Log in with your registered ID to access the ‘Application Form Page’. If not registered, sign up using your email, mobile number, or Gmail account.
Step-3: You will be redirected to the TVS Cheema Financial Assistance Program 2026 application form page.
Step-4: Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
Step-5: Fill in the required details in the online application form.
Step-6: Upload relevant documents.
Step-7: Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
Step-8: If all the details are correct on the preview screen, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

Documents Required For TVS Cheema Degree/Nursing Financial Assistance

1. Class 12 marksheet (for engineering or Nursing applicants)
2. Government-issued address proof (e.g., Aadhaar card)

3. Proof of family income (any one of the following):
** Income Tax Return (ITR) statement
** Salary slip
** Form 16 (if salaried)
** BPL or Ration card
** Income certificate issued by the Tehsildar/BDO (for rural areas)
** Letter/Certificate from the Gram Panchayat (signed and stamped)

4. A recent passport-size photograph of the applicant:
** Document for Admission proof – Counselling or through Merit
