What is Kotak Junior Scholarship Program?

The Kotak Junior Scholarship Program 2026-27 is an initiative of Kotak Education Foundation (KEF), the CSR implementing agency of Kotak Mahindra Group. The program aims to support meritorious and deserving students from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) who have completed Class 10 from SSC, CBSE, or ICSE boards, by helping them continue their education in Class 11 and Class 12. Selected students will receive a scholarship of INR 3,500 per month for 21 months, amounting to a total support of INR 73,500 during Class 11 and Class 12. Last date of Scholarship is 30th June 2026.

Eligibility of Kotak Junior Scholarship Program

** Applicants must score an overall 85% or above in their Class 10 Board Examination (SSC/CBSE/ICSE) in 2026.
** Must have secured admission in Class 11 at junior colleges/schools for Arts, Commerce or Science streams in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) for the academic year 2026-27.
** Annual parental income of applicants must be INR 3,20,000 or below.
** Applicants must currently reside within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
** Children of employees of Kotak Education Foundation or Buddy4Study are ineligible to apply.

How To Apply For Kotak Junior Scholarship Program?

To apply for Kotak Junior Scholarship Program, follow the below steps

Steps:
** Go to the link given above.
** Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
** Log in to Buddy4Study with your registered ID.
** If not registered – Register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile/Gmail account.
** You will now be redirected to the ‘Kotak Education Foundation official website’.
** Then click on “Register Now” and complete your registration.
** Check your email, reset your password, and log in to the portal.
** Open the Application Form, check the eligibility criteria, and fill in all the required details.
** Upload the necessary documents and click on “Save”.
** If any errors are shown, correct them and save again.
** Once all details are completed correctly, click on “Submit” to complete your application.

Documents Required For Kotak Junior Scholarship Program

** SSC/ICSE/CBSE Marksheet (e-copy allowed) – Mandatory (post-result)
** Income certificate (Issued by Govt. of Maharashtra F.Y 2026-27) / Income Certificate (Issued by Govt. of Maharashtra FY 2025-26 & FY 2024-2025) will also be accepted – Mandatory
** The latest copy of the IT Return, along with 26AS, if income tax is paid or an IT Return is filed by any family member / Form 16
** Recent passport-size photograph – Mandatory
** School leaving certificate (post-result)
** Death certificate in case of a single parent – Mandatory
** Student’s bank account / Student’s Joint Account with Parent (Bank statement or first page of bank passbook required)
