What is ICAR NTS-PG National Talent Scholarship?
National Talent Scholarship (NTS) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research is available to a student pursuing Master degree programme admitted through All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) in the Agricultural University located outside of his State of domicile. NTS-PG is awarded @ Rs.5000/- per month to PG students for entire duration of degree programme subject to minimum qualifying CGPA. Last date of application is 22nd April 2026.
Eligibility of ICAR NTS-PG National Talent Scholarship
ICAR NTS-PG National Talent Scholarship is available to a student pursuing Master degree programme admitted through All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) in the Agricultural University located outside of his State of domicile.
How To Apply For ICAR NTS-PG National Talent Scholarship?
The students will submit their application on National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Students admitted through All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) under ICAR All India Quota (AIQ) seats in the Agricultural Universities under ICAR-AU System are only eligible. All those candidates satisfying the condition of non-domicile criteria in their admission are eligible. Candidates who appeared and admitted through All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) under ICAR AIQ Seats are automatically eligible for the said scholarship

Value of ICAR NTS-PG National Talent Scholarship
NTS-PG is awarded @ Rs.5000/- per month to PG students for entire duration of degree programme subject to minimum qualifying CGPA.
The scholarship will be terminated :
** From the date an awardee ceases to be on the roll of the Collegel University/Institution.
** From the date the sanction of the scholarship expires.
** If the awardee is dropped by the College/ University/ Institution or indulges in gross acts of indiscipline.
** If awardee does not maintain minimum academic performance speci fied for continuance of scholarship.
Note:
The Scholarship will be awarded initially for a period of one year from the date the student actually lakes admission in the Agricultural University for pursuing under Graduate/Post Graduate degree programme in agriculture and related disciplines with both course work and practical leading to the award of Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s degree. The scholarship will be renewed for the remaining duration of the undergraduate degree/post graduate degree programme subject to his/her maintenance of good academic performance and conduct as specified by the concerned University.
