What is Chandigarh Police Personnel Scholarship?
Applications are hereby invited for grant of scholarships to the wards of Chandigarh Police personnel, as per the directions of the Senior Officers. The period to be considered for scholarship shall be up to 1st April 2026. The scholarships shall be awarded as rewards/incentives for exceptional achievements during the Academic Session 2024-25, as well as for accomplishments in the field of sports and other activities including singing, dancing, and other talent competitions, with a view to motivate the wards of Chandigarh Police personnel.
Eligibility of Chandigarh Police Personnel Scholarship
Criteria for Scholarship for Academic Session 2024-25
6th to 12th: (Percentage will be considered calculated by School)
Students securing 85% marks and above shall be eligible, The Result Certificate/Mark Sheet issued up to 31.03.2026 shall be considered for the purpose of grant of scholarship for the Academic Session 2024-25.
Undergraduate Courses (B.A., B.Sc., BBA, etc.): (Copy of Complete result certificate]
Students securing 807o marks and above shall be eligible. The Result Certificate/Mark Sheet issued up to 31.03.2026 shall be considered for the purpose of grant of scholarship for the Academic Session 2024-25.
Postgraduate Courses (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., etc.): (Copy of Complete result certificate)
Students securing 750lo marks and above shall be eligible. The Result Certificate/Mark Sheet issued up to 31.03.2026 shall be considered for the purpose of grant of scholarship for the Academic Session 2024-25,
Medical Courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, Nursing, Paramedical, etc.) / Technical Degrees/Diplomas (minimum one-year duration) : (Copy of Complete result certificate)
Students securing 600/o marks and above shall be eligible, The Result Certificate/Mark Sheet issued up to 31.03.2026 shall be considered for the purpose of grant of scholarship for the Academic Session 2024-25.
Professional Degrees :(B.Tech, 8.E., BCA, LL.B., MBA, MCA, etc.) (Copy of Complete result certificate)
Students securing 7070 marks and above shall be eligible. The Result Certificate/Mark Sheet issued up to 31.03.2026 shall be considered for the purpose of grant of scholarship for the Academic Session 2024-25.
For excellence in sports at National level & International Level:
Securing Gold, silver, Bronze medals or Participation at National / International / All India University Level competitions shall be considered. The relevant certificates must have been achieved up to 31,03,2026.
Any other activities like singing, dancing and other talents:
Telecast on recognized National Television Channels up to 31,03.2026 (with full particulars).
How To Apply For Chandigarh Police Personnel Scholarship?
** The Scholarship Proforma is available on the official website of Chandigarh Police
** The duly filled-in proforma must be submitted to the Welfare Branch, PLWC, Sector-26, Chandigarh, on or before 1st April 2026.
** No proforma/application shall be accepted after the due date.
** Only those applicants who have not availed the previously disbursed scholarship up to September 2025 shall be eligible to apply.
** It is, therefore, directed that all SHOs and Unit In-Charges shall inform the police personnel working under their supervision about this circular during the Roll Call, so that eligible candidates may submit their applications within the stipulated time
