What is Odisha Pre Matric Scholarship?
Pre Matric Scholarship 2026 is povided by Odisha ST&SC and MBC Welfare Department. Students studying Classes IXth and Xth can apply for this scholarship. Applicant should be a regular, full-time student in any Government School or in a School recognized by the Government. Parents/ guardian’s annual income from all sources shall not exceed Rs. 2,50,000. Applications must be submitted online. Last date of application is 28th February 2026.

Parents/ guardian’s annual income from all sources shall not exceed Rs. 2,50,000
Other Conditions:
** Applicant should be a regular, full-time student in any Government School or in a School recognized by the Government or a Central/State Board of Secondary Education.
** In case of OBC/SEBC and EBC category, scholarship will be provided for students studying in Government Schools ONLY.
** Scholarship in any class will be available for only one year. If a student has to repeat a class, she/he would not get scholarship for that class a second time.
** Scholarship amount will be disbursed only in Aadhaar seeded bank account of the students

Steps:
Step-1 : Register at https://scholarship.odisha.gov.in/, if you are new user. Existing user can click on the login button.
Step-2 : Enter the Aadhaar number and Proceed.
Step-3 : Login in with your User ID and Password to apply for the scheme.
Step-4 : Click login link at the portal and enter User ID and password to apply the scholarship.
Step-5 : Please choose the Department name and Scheme name.
Step-6 : Provide all necessary details like student, academic, eligibility, and bank information.
Step-7 : Click on the “Save as draft” button to draft the information or click on “Next” button to save and proceed the scholarship form.
Step-8 : The preview of the completed form will appear on the page. Download the forms and take its print out.
