What is GSK Scholars Programme?

The GSK Scholars Programme is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (GSK Pharma), aimed at supporting academically deserving students from economically underprivileged backgrounds to pursue an MBBS degree. The programme aligns with India’s larger mission to strengthen healthcare and promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. Last date of application is 11th January 2026.

Eligibility of GSK Scholars Programme

** Students must be enrolled in the first year of an MBBS programme at a government medical college.
** Applicants must have secured at least 65% marks in their Class 12 board examination.
** The annual family income of applicants must be below INR 6,00,000 from all sources.
** The scholarship is open to Indian nationals only.
** Children of employees of GSK Pharma and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

Benefits of GSK Scholars Programme

Up to INR 1,00,000 per year for 4.5 years. Scholarship funds can only be utilised for academic expenses, which include tuition fees, exam fees, books, hostel fees, food and seminars. If funds remain, they will be used for stationery, online learning, and payment of internet/data pack bills.

To apply for GSK Scholars Programme, Follow the below steps

Steps:
** Go to the link given above and Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
** Login to Buddy4Study with your registered ID and land on the ‘Application Form Page’.
** If not registered, register at Buddy4Study with your email/mobile/Gmail account.
** You will now be redirected to the ‘GSK Scholar Programme’ application form page.
** Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
** Fill in the required details in the online application form.
** Upload relevant documents.
** Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
** If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

Documents Required For GSK Scholars Programme

** A government-issued identity proof (Voter ID card / Driving License / PAN card)
** Current year college enrollment proof (Admission Letter / Institution Identity Card / Bonafide Certificate, etc.)
** First year MBBS all paid fee receipts
** Family income proof
** Class 10 and Class 12 marksheet
** Bank account details of the applicant
** Recent photograph

Optional Documents:
** In case of a single parent or orphans, the Death Certificate of the Parent/s
** Disability Certificate (in case of a person with disability)
