What is Ericsson Empowering Girl Scholarship?

The Ericsson Empowering Girl Scholarship Program 2025-26 aims to provide financial aid to meritorious female students from underprivileged sections of society. Under this scholarship program, female students in the 2nd year of their graduation in the Information Technology, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology or Telecommunication engineering fields across India will receive benefits of INR 75,000 to help cover their academic expenses, including accommodation, tuition fees, etc. Last date of application is 30th November 2025.

Benefits of Ericsson Empowering Girl Scholarship

Fixed scholarship of INR 75,000

The scholarship amount can only be utilised for the following:
** Academic Expenses – Tuition fee, admission fee, exam fee, books
** Living expenses – Hostel fee, mess fee, uniform
** Devices – Laptop, mobile, equipment
** Monthly Allowance

Eligibility of Ericsson Empowering Girl Scholarship

** Open for female students across India only.
** Applicants studying in the 2nd year of an engineering program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, and Telecommunication streams at state/UGC recognised colleges in India.
** Applicants must have scored at least a 6.5 GPA or equivalent marks in the previous final examination.
** The annual family income of the applicant from all sources must not exceed INR 6,00,000.
** Preference to applicants with disabilities/single parents/orphans.
** Children of Ericsson and Buddy4Study employees are not eligible.
