What is Anant Fellowship?
The Anant Fellowship 2025-26 is an opportunity offered by Anant National University (India’s First Design University) for undergraduate degree holders in any discipline. This global, year-long postgraduate programme prepares and empowers individuals to become solutionaries who can design, build, and preserve equitable built environments. Selected candidates shall receive a fellowship of up to ₹7,50,000. Last date of application is 30th June 2025.

Eligibility of Anant Fellowship
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
** hold an undergraduate degree in any discipline
** demonstrate a commitment to improving the built environment
MSc in Sustainability and Built Environment:
** The MSc in Sustainability and Built Environment is a two year post-graduate programme focused on enabling innovative solutions for cities through technical expertise and critical thinking. Candidates can specialize in either of the categories mentioned below:
** Affordable Housing – Explore issues relating to the development, financing, and management of housing affordable to very low, low, and moderate income households.
** Sustainable Urbanism – Understand a range of disciplines that together contribute to urban sustainability. The track takes a multidisciplinary approach and focuses on design, theory and policy.
** Culture and Heritage – Explore the links between cultural heritage (both tangible and intangible) and sustainability through a variety of theoretical and methodological approaches.
** Designed as a dual degree programme, all candidates complete the Anant Fellowship in Sustainability and Built Environment in Year 1 of the masters programme.
** Year 2 focuses on research and writing with each candidate presenting a dissertation and academic publication to graduate with the degree.
Benefits of Anant Fellowship
Selected candidates will receive a fellowship of ₹5,00,000 towards tuition fees and an amount of ₹1,75,000 to ₹2,50,000 for covering their accommodation cost(subject to availability).

Selection Criteria of Anant Fellowship
The selection will be done on a mutual balance fit of need and merit analysed through the laid down stages of:
** Application review
** Telephonic interview
** Personal interview
Successful applicants will be invited to participate in a two-stage interview process.
Stage 1: One-on-one telephone interview with a member of the program team.
Stage 2: Personal interview with a panel from the university, including the program director and other faculty member
