What is Danish Professional Education Scholarship?

Danish Educational Trust (R) gives Danish Professional Education Scholarship to students (boys & girls) pursuing Engineering, Medicine, Law, Journalism, Nursing, Allied Health, Veterinary Sciences, Agriculture Sciences, Education and Civil Services. Danish Educational Trust can increase / decrease the amount of scholarship depending on the number of applications. The Decision of Danish Educational Trust Selection Committee is Final.Danish Scholarship 2024-25 Applications open on 19th January 2025.

Who Can Apply For Danish Professional Education Scholarship?

** Muslim Students (Boys & Girls) who have taken admission to 1st year for academic year 2024-2025 in following Professional Courses – BE/B.Tech, B.Arch, MBBS, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS, B.V.Sc, BSc Agriculture, B.Sc Forestry, B.Pharma, Pharm D, BSc Nursing, BDS (Dental), BPT (Physiotherapy) & B.Sc (Allied Health) on merit basis through NEET & K-CET 2024 Counselling only.
** Students who have taken admission to 1st year for academic year 2024-2025 in Law Courses (BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB & LLM), Journalism Courses – BA (Journalism) MA / MS (Journalism / Mass Communication) & Education Courses ( BA B.Ed / BSc B.Ed / B.Ed).
** Students who have taken admission to 2nd Year BE (Lateral Entry) through KCET 2024 after completing 3 years Diploma can apply.

Eligibility Criteria :
** For MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS – NEET 2024 All India Medical rank within 5 Lakhs.
** For B.V.Sc – KCET 2024 Veterinary Rank within 1 Lakh.
** For BE / B.Tech – KCET 2024 Engineering rank within 1 Lakh.
** For B.Pharma, Pharm D – KCET 2024 Pharmacy rank within 1 Lakh.
** For B.Sc Nursing, BPT (Physiotherapy) & B.Sc (Allied Health) – Admission through KEA 2024 Only.
** For Law & Journalism Courses – Minimum 75% in previous annual exam.
** For BA B.Ed / BSc B.Ed / B.Ed – Minimum 75% in previous annual exam.
** The annual income of parents/guardian should not be more than Rs.2.5 Lakh.
** Student must be eligible to receive Zakat Amount.
** Separate funds have been reserved for poor & deserving “SYED” Students.

Amount of Danish Professional Education Scholarship

Danish Professional Scholarship is a One time Scholarship Only. The scholarship amount is as follows.
** For MBBS – Rs.35,000/-
** For BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS – Rs.30,000/-
** For B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch – Rs.25,000/-
** For BVSc, B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Forestry – Rs.20,000/-
** For BSc Nursing, B.Pharma, Pharm D, BPT (Physiotherapy) & B.Sc Allied Health – Rs.20,000/-
** For Journalism & Law Courses – Rs.20,000/-
** For BA B.Ed, BSc B.Ed, B.Ed Courses – Rs.15,000/-

Documents Required For Danish Professional Education Scholarship

Documents to be kept ready before starting to fill the online application:
** Recent Color Passport Size Photograph
** Marks Sheet – SSLC / 10th Std
** Marks Sheet – 2nd PUC / 12th Std
** Marks Sheet – Final Semester of UG (Only for PG Students)
** NEET 2024 Hall Ticket (If Applicable)
** KCET 2024 Hall Ticket (If Applicable)
** NEET 2024 / KCET 2024 / DIET / University Admission Order (If Applicable)
** Student Aadhaar Card
** Bank Passbook First Page / Cancelled Cheque
** BPL Card of Family (If Applicable)
** Income Certificate or Income & Caste Certificate issued by Revenue Department
** Fee Paid Receipt (Partial/Full Payment) of Current Year 2024-2025
** In case of persons with special needs – Disability certificate issued by Govt. of Karnataka or issued by registered Doctor on letterhead
** In case of orphans – Death certificate of parent

Verification, Selection & Grant Of Scholarship Process:
** Online Scholarship Applications received will be scrutinized by Danish Education Trust.
** Documents uploaded online will be verified with the hard copy of the documents received.
** Shortlisted students will be verified / interviewed via House Verification / Video Call / House Visit.
** Panel of Trustees will do the final selection based on merit & financial background of the student.
** Few of the Selected Students will be invited for the Scholarship Program in Bangalore.
** Rest of the Selected Students will get their Scholarship Amount via Online Transfer to their Bank Account.
